DL Website Question

So yes this is my first trip to DL and yes I am use to planning trips to DW. Well now the holidays are over I am ready to get to planning so I went to DL website and I was hoping to find a My Itenerary section that would list my hotel reservations. I found the place where I can enter my reservation but it doesn't remember it. My DD and DSIL live out of town so it is always fun to invite them and they could see what I have added. So my questions are am I missing it, when I pay the hotel off will it show up, will the tickets not show up till they send them to me, and when I make dinning reservations will they show up continuously or will I always have to enter the reservation number. Also I have the app on my phone and my hotel reservations don't show up there but idk if they are suppose too. Hahahah sorry about all the questions.

I may be wrong, but I think the dining reservations store on the (relatively new) app, and that may be about it.

The culture and approach at DL is very different that WDW because DL is still very much a "local theme park" whose core demographic is day trippers. DL has been slow to adapt the My Disney Experience-style online planning, but it's slowly coming in. I think you'll find much of DL still feels and works the way WDW did 20 years ago.
