DL tickets and reservations - April 15!

How long did it take for them to email you tickets? I'm going on two hours with Get away
Sorry - my "yep" was agreeing with him that he'd have to get back in the queue.

There've been several folks in this thread who seem to be having the same issue with Get Away - tickets purchased, but no delivery yet.

I bought mine this morning through them and it took about an hour for the status to go from in process to complete. I haven't tried linking my tickets yet but I have the PDF confirmation.
So basically the process for buying from a 3rd party (like UT) would be....?
1. Buy tickets through 3rd party
2. Wait for emailed tickets (minutes to hours)
3. Link tickets to Disneyland account
4. Follow the Disney Reservation process detailed on their site, which still will put you in a queue

Wondering if its worth bailing on the "Recalculating"? Or, are those in the queue for reservations also getting the "Recalculating" status?

Unfortunately because when the site crashed I was actually buying my tickets I also lost my line in the queue because it timed out so I have a different Queue ID

DH (who hates Disney vacations so we leave him home) is mocking me for spending hours waiting to buy tickets, only to end up with the "recalculating" screen. But he's still bringing me bacon and refilling my coffee for me, because he knows how much DS and I love these trips.

LOL. My husband just walked away. He was trying to show me how our puppy learned a new trick, but I'm far to engrossed in watching my 2 screens. Why do I feel like this is going to start working again just when I have a meeting this afternoon? I can see it now. "Oh, excuse me, I need to step outside of this meeting I am in charge of. I have to make Disney reservations now." :rolleyes1

At this point, it's not the worst idea if you're more worried about value than about getting specific days. The problem is how long it takes to receive your tickets - and how long it'll take to book the park reservations. (And, yes, the park reservations are in the same queue.)

Like, I don't think anything is moving right now.

I teach and we are back in person now and I could just see myself in the middle of lecture or lab, saying excuse me kids, I need to break here and get my tickets. So I took the day off, LOL.

Those who got hotel + tix: have you gotten any ticket confirmation number via email? My hotel confirmation number doesn't work; that is, there's nothing on my Disney account to show that I have tickets. Doesn't that mean, if I ever get through the reservations queue, I won't be able to reserve anything? :crazy2:

I did not receive a ticket confirmation number either and when I clicked on the theme park reservations it put me back in the queue that is recalculating. I am attempting to call the number that was given in my package confirmation email right now. I would love to hear what others are doing.

I was buying my tickets while talking to my boss on Zoom. :rotfl2: Luckily she's cool and was like "i'm going to go get a cup of coffee so i'll see you when you're done."

Gotcha! Thanks!
More worried about specific days, compared to value... We have a tight window this June until we aren't California residents anymore...😔

Just clicked on to try and make hotel reservations and get the recalculating screen, same for ticket purchase.

So I had my husband, who works as a web developer, look at the stats for the site. It looks like information is still being sent and updated for our spots in the queue, but it's not communicating that to the visual update for us as users. So, the good news is, we probably didn't lose our places in line. The bad news is that's all he could tell me.
