DL Ticket and Dining questions

I'm hoping to go to DL on Labor Day weekend (for the DL 1/2 marathon).
Have a couple questions, as its been about 5 years since I've been to DL.

1. Does DL have a dining plan similar to WDW? If so, what are the costs?

2. I know you can use days left on a WDW ticket pass for DL, but does that apply to the AP's also or just the MYW tickets? Just wanted to make sure so I know if I have to buy DL park passes or whether I can use my WDW AP.

3. I am currently waitlisted for a studio at VGC. What are my chances of having it come through for Labor DAy weekend?

1. The dining plan at DLR is inferior (IMO and many others here) to WDW's because:
a) It doesn't save you as much money
b) You get a set amount of dollar amount vouchers and when you use those vouchers you don't get change. So for example if you want to pay for something that costs $4.95 with a $5 voucher, you will lose 5 cents. That's not a big deal, but if you have run out of $5 vouchers, you need to either pay in cash (which defeats the purpose of a dining plan) or pay with a $10 voucher and lose $5.05 (which can add up significantly)
c) You can't use the vouchers at Downtown Disney restaurants

2. You can use MYW tickets at DLR. You cannot use WDW APs at DLR (or vice versa for that matter)

3. Not sure. Someone else can chime in. My guess is that you will be able to because it is so far in advance.
