I was at DL in August. One day as we were exiting Toon town, the DL railroad came along, and we looked up to watch it go by. I think I saw a couple of guests riding up front, right behind the engineer/CM? I have been trying to find info on this, but all I can find is that it used to be allowed. I am not sure if it still is? We did not have time to ask about it at the park.

Thanks.

Yes, you can ride in the "tender". However, it is up to the discretion of the CMs and only on engines 1 and 2 I believe. You must do the grand circle tour and they cannot be taking on water. So you may end up waiting awhile. This information is of Labor Day weekend when our Lilly Belle CM gave us the information on that. :thumbsup2

Ask a CM in the Main Street station. A CM will direct you to where to wait. It can take a while because it's not possible on every train and only sometimes on the trains that have the extra seat in the tender.
