Ok, so we're going to the parks soon...and I'm sorry...but I just don't do sneakers/tennis shoes/clogs/etc....I'm a flip flop gal and need to know what is the most comfortable flip flop out there. Please let me know also where the best deal to buy them would be.

I admit I like looking cute at the parks and acheiving comfort as well!princess: Who can blame me?:confused3

Thanks!

The most comforable pair of flip-flops I've ever worn have been Reef brand. They have a real foot bed with arch supports and the bottom tread is like a tennis shoe. I think a lot of the Reef styles are pretty sporty and cute.

I don't know about deals. I bought mine on sale at a dive shop and bought another pair at Sports Chalet.

I'm putting in a vote for Fit Flops. I live in mine, and walk for many hours in them and my feet don't hurt. I also like Holey soles, but they have since gone out of business.

I stopped at the big outlet mall in Palm Springs on my first trip to DLR and bought NIKE flip flops at the NIke store there. I wore them everyday in the parks and they were so comfy. The straps are some kind of neoprene that hug the foot so they have some kind of support. I was sold on them ever since!!! I always by a new pair for each trip..I swear by them. Sadly, I have had to buy them at the athletic shoe stores in the mall..I think they were $39 last time....but I will get good use out of them on the trip and after!!:cheer2:

I agree, Reefs are the way to go. They are so comfortable. I also have a pair by North Face which are very similar in style to the Reefs I have. And they are just as comfy.

I bought my Reefs through Zappos but I'm sure you can find a better deal.

What type of flip flops do you normally wear?

Teva sandal/flip flops are great!!! Mega comfy and conform to your foot. Ebay has the best deals! Unless you have a Famous Footwear near you. Check Famous Footwear online too!

Yes, definitely Teva! I got mine at DSW on clearance for $10 and I had a $10 off coupon, so I ended up paying only the tax on them. I would also recommend Crocs; they have a couple of varieties of flip-flops.

I'm going to say Reef as well, the dual funtion, bottle cap opener ones are really nice and about $50.

I also live in flip flops...year round when I can get away with it! Anyway, I have Reef ones, Teva "Mush" ones and I recently started wearing Fitflops. The Fitflops blow the other brands out of the water as far as comfort...seriously.

Hi!

I like Reefs and if you want a bit of 'heel' JCrew sells a super comfy flip flop with a deep foot bed and elastic straps that is very easy to wear.

And this goes without saying, but here it is anyway--:)--bring your foot exfoliating scrub with you. Your feet will be filthy at the end of the day!!

I agree with the second person with FIT Flops. It's all I wear from April - September. I have four different pairs. They are relatively inexpensive at Nordstrom Rack. I've also seen Reef flip flops there.

I live in flip flops and the most comfortable ones I have EVER owned are the Montrail Molokini

The have great support with a moldable foam footbed. They cost about $50, but are worth every penny!

rainbows! I own both reefs and rainbows. The rainbows have the BEST arch support. Way better than reef! I have worn them at DLR and WDW for days with no problems!!

I loved wearing my Teva Flip flops at DL. I wore another pair in the beginning of our trip and got the worst blisters!!

I would have to agree with PPs; I absolutely adore my Tevas and Rainbows. I have lived in Tevas for about 8 years now (multiple pairs). They have some of the best arch support around even taking into account regular shoes (I have high arches, so searching for something with support can be kinda challenging).

I also love my Rainbows but I would advise having them for at least a few weeks, if not a month to break them in because if you try to do that at DL, your feet will be sore. But after you break them in, they are amazing!

Try DSW online or in stores for Tevas. Its really cheap and if you have a store, you won't have to worry about shipping costs. I don't know exactly everywhere to find Rainbows though cause I got them at my local surf shop. Maybe they have a website?

I'm a Teva Mush girl. Been wearing them everywhere, all the time (including WDW and DL) for 5+ years now.

I usually check Sierra Trading Post, REI and sometimes Shoebuy to see what's on clearance. You can find them at any sporting goods store or Gander Mountain, too.

I like Reefs and Havianas. Havaianas are more the traditional flip-flop look, but I like the rubber they use, it feels soft and flexible. I saw both brands at Nordstrom Rack, probably about 50-70% off retail, this week.

Count me down as another Fit Flop lover. These shoes are wonderful - they are all I've worn for several months now to work, for hourly walks in the evening, everywhere. Yes, they are expensive - about $60 at Nordstorm is the only place I can find them. But the expense is so worth it for my feet not to bother me.

BTW, I wore them ALL DAY at Universal Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot during December. Then this July, I wore them for 12-14 hours of walking in Washington DC. Never even had to think about my feet, the support provided by the Fit Flops is great and there is nothing around your foot or wrapped around your heel to irritate you.
