DL no longer an equal to WDW?

Is DL even close to WDW in:
Resort options
Dining options
Non-park offerings (mini-golf, water parks, other activities)
Tours
Special Events (MNSSHP, ect...)
Disney bubble when staying on site

I don't have a clue on all of these as the last time I was to DisneyLand was when I was really young.

Due to sheer size, WDW has more dining options and resort options than DLR does. However, DLR does have a number of very good dining options and it does have three hotels.

No mini-golf, water parks or things like that, but it does have DTD.

DLR has a number of tours, some of which are quite popular and informative.

DLR has Mickey's Halloween Party, which is kind of like MNSSHP. Some things are similiar, some are very different. Both parties are a lot of fun and neither is necessarily better than the other (it's all a matter of perspective). No Christmas party at DLR, but that means the seasonal entertainment is available to everyone (and not just party-goers). They do have Candlelight Processional (fewer nights).

The Disney-bubble depends...if you stay at one of the on-site hotels, then yes. If not, then not as much. On the other hand, you can walk from off-site hotels to DLR, so that can be a plus.
