DL in October 2005?

Hi all.. I am trying to set up a Trip to DL the first week or second week of October. But we really dont want to go if its going to be super busy. We went this summer and could barley move around so it was hard to enjoy ourselfs..

I am looking for a little help about how busy you think the park will be in october?
Is there a site somewhere that estimates percentiles or something??

The first two weeks in October won't be as busy as the summer, but it will be busy! The first weekend is Gay Days and the opening of HMH and the second weekend is the Colubus Day holiday. Combine that with a lot of schools having fall break and the 50th celebration and you are looking at a busier October than normal.

We have been to DL a few times in October and we find it to be very manageable. We are going this year from OCT 12 - 16. There are quite a few people but, nothing like summer. Now, because this is the 50th we are not sure what to expect but we know it will be great anyway. In the past the wait times have never been more than 45 min. and we always took advantage of the FP. It only rained on us once, but we are from Oregon so a little rain never bothered us. We know of a few families from our town that are going when we are because our school district has a 5 day weekend, but we love DL in October! So, have fun if you go.
