After I spent time researching and making reservations for WDW my DH and DD15 said they would like to go back to California's Disney!

I certainly do not mind as long as it is Disney. Plus the drive that way is much more pleasureable to us. LOL

Are there any ride closures in the park for March 14-19th? Anything we would miss out on?

What is the weather like there in March? Last time we went was in July and we loved it!

I want to make sure it will be a nice family vacation without the kids missing too much on rides, adventures, etc while there.

There are several closures because of the Rivers of America is drained so anything connected to it is closed, which includes Closed for Refurbishments:
Mark Twain Riverboat, Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island, Sailing Ship Columbia, Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes, and also Fantasmic.

We'll be there at that time also, and have been mid-March many times because it's our Spring Break. Weather is usually nice, but can be pretty cool - especially later afternoon and evening as soon as the sun starts going down.

California Adventure is also under a major re-haul......so not sure what's still down at this point...but be prepared for construction walls (but decorated in true Disney style)

March can be quite busy, so take advantage of smaller crowds early morning & get your FP's.

Hope you enjoy your trip!!

This will be our 3rd trip mid march and we will be there the same week as you. The Rivers of America has been drained so anything that requires the water is on the refurb list (Pirates Lair, Canoes, Riverboat) In CA the Orange Stinger is being overhauled, there may be a couple other ones, check the disney website, it has a list. As the OP said, the weather is cool in the evenings and mornings, but is usually nice throughout the day. (I live on the WA coast so anything above 55 is nice to me :) ) It has been in the 75+ range for us previous times. Last year the crowds really picked up during the later part of the week, but the year before most rides were walk on. I hope you have a magical time.

thanks all. i am still thinking about all this. i just want to be sure there is enough disney fun!
