DL Hong Kong encouraged to decrease capacity

No need to worry... DCA and Animal Kingdom have proven that Disney can keep attendance under control come opening day.

Eh, I wasn't worried. As much as I wish I could be at HKDL on opening day, the finances are a bit prohibitive. :earboy2:

Besides, doesn't three hour waits for top attractions and 30-minute lines for counter service meals just sound like SOP for parks at capacity anyway? :rotfl2:

Exactly. Given the small number of attractions they're opening with, I'm not surprised the lines are long. I was rather surprised when I was on the DL HK website at how few attractions were available. But like all the parks, they will add over time.

Of course, back when Walt opened a park, that was because he didn't have the money to open everything all at once and oh yeah, he changed attractions often. Now, Disney has plenty of cash, I mean, they could afford Fox Family.

Still, it's a convient excuse to justify a worthless park that does nothing but dilute the brand.
