Disneyland is day-of only. You have to be in the park to get a FP.

You cant do Fast Pass in advance. Disneyland California has the paper fast pass machines beside the rides and attractions. You can only get Fast Passes on the day. You need to put your park ticket into the machine and then you will get a Fast Pass. You do not have a choice of return time, you just get the next available window.

There are rumours of Maxi Pass but as of 31 May 2017, this is not available

Even when MaxPass comes to be, you will still only be able to get same-day FPs.
