DL Crowds Beginning of August?

How bad are the crowds in the summer? We'll be there 8/1-8/5. We've been during spring break. Would it be better or worse than that? We'll have three kids and two grandparents in ecv's so I'm trying to plan early and set expectations for them.

Summer crowds are generally considered to be lighter than Spring Break crowds at DLR.

Early August is my favorite time to go. I always find the crowds to be less than say during Halloween season. I haven't been during spring break so I can't compare for you but my number one choice of time of year to go is late July/early August.
