DL Character meal information

In a few weeks I will be making my PS and need information about character meals.

I will be traveling with DM (73), myself (42) dgd(13) and dgd best friend (14) all females. Food quality is an important factor for us. Even the teen girls don't like to spend money on less than good quality food.

From what I am hearing on the boards so far, it would seem more characters are at Goofy's Kitchen or Minnies breakfast in the Plaza, and the only characters at Ariel's are the princesses and usually 6.

What characters can you find where and who has the best interaction and food? Would love any advice you can given.

I have only ever done Goofy's Kitchen and would have a hard time going else where! We had a BLAST! WAY better than we expected! and the food was good! Best meal we had all week! The choices were excellent! and the Characters were so fun!

The week before Easter @ Minnie's Breakfast we saw
Minnie, our hostess
Pooh, Eyeore, Tigger, Pinocchio, Gipetto, and one of the characters that lured Pinocchio away from going to school (don't know his name), a Fairy Godmother, Capitan Hook,
& Chip or Dale

That's all I can remember right now and the only character meal we attended.
Food was great. Especially the made to order omalette. There was plenty of food at the 10am seating,
but fruit was lacking by 11am when we went back for more strawberries for dd.

The only experience I have so far is from Goofy's Kitchen and based on that experience I would recommend it to anyone.

We were a large group and the character interaction was amazing. If I remember correctly (it was a couple of years ago) we had the Goofy, Chip, Dale, Fairy Godmother, Wendy, and Merlin come and visit us at our table. Goofy, Chip, Dale and the Fairy Godmother had the best interactions. Chip and Dale were joking around with our family, teasing my brother in-laws, purposing to my sisters, etc. Everyone really enjoyed this meal.

I am going back in just over a week so I can let you know if my second experience was as good as the first one. I will also be going to the Princess lunch and Lilo & Stitch breakfast if you would like more info on either of these I can let you know.
