We will be there for DD5's birthday. I've been wondering. When we were in WDW they had very adorable playhouse Cinderella Castle (identical to the one at WDW) w/ all little princess figurines for only $69. She really wanted it but we didn't get it because we didn't know how we'd get it home. Do they have anything like that at DLR? Do they have a Sleeping Beauty castle? If so, I know she'd love to use her card on that.

Yes, they do have a Sleeping Beauty Castle version of this. I'm not sure on the cost, though I would imagine it's the same as the WDW one.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!! Yesterday was my bday and I went to City Hall, easy easy and got my FUN CARD = $69.00!!! Then I bought a $46.00 DL Sweatshirt, LOVE IT!!, Bought the HIDDEN MICKEY's book = $10.00 and a Happy Birthday Pin for my lanyard!!!! Total was $72.00!!! (I owed them $3.00)!!!!!!!!!


I will tell you once you put that "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" badge on that they give you in CITY HALL and your party with you all wears the "I'M CELEBRATING" badges, everyone absolutely everyone in the Parks see the pins and says HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you.

Oh and every ride we went on, I would ask the CM if I got get my preference in seating...IASW, front of boat, PIRATES, front of boat, SOARIN', first row and on and on!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Momrek06 for that info!!!! We will be there starting Mar. 20th to celebrate my 40th and I was absolutely going to the get Happy Birthday pin for myself. But I did know that the rest of my group could get "I'm Celebrating" pins.......how fun!!!! We've got 11 of us total so I'm sure we will all love the extra attention! (we're also the goofy family that likes to wear matching shirts and that usually gets us some attention)

I also did not know you could ask for seating preference.......great info to know! Thanks again.....

Well, I really did not know if the CM's would let me wait up for a front row seat on all the attractions...I figured I would ask...well EVERYONE of them obliged me!! Birthday + Disneyland = AWESOME!!!

Well, I really did not know if the CM's would let me wait up for a front row seat on all the attractions...I figured I would ask...well EVERYONE of them obliged me!! Birthday + Disneyland = AWESOME!!!

I don't want to ruin the moment (but i'm going to ) but you can ask for specific seats on attractions whether or not it's your birthday. You may have to wait for 1 or a few "vehicles" to be filled up, but usually unless there's a huge backup for a certain seat, the CMs will let you wait for a desired seat. For example on Soarin, if you ask to sit front row center, you may have to wait one more ride, but they will satisfy your request.

My birthday is in March, too, and I plan on getting one of those trinket boxes that WMPete got on his recent trip (listen to last week's podcast for reactions to these gifts).

I am glad you mentioned this, I have never seen them before! I love them. I think the Snow White is awesome but I am hopeful that he will create a Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella in the next few months Plus now I am into the podcasts.
