DL AP question

Does anyone know if the ap pass for DL works the same way as it's counterpart for WDW? Can you purchase the pass but not activate it until your first day of use, thus beginning your one year of use on the first day you've used it (not the day you purchased it)? Thanks for any info you can share...I'm trying to put together a first time trip on a budget and know how to do that for WDW, but need west coast help!

Thanks, dsnylndmom. No time limit at all from purchase day? What if you don't activate for two years? Still okay?

Hmmmmmm I'm pretty sure that there is a time limit. I don't see how you could wait two years, that would affect the pricing. Sorry.

Guess I'd better check w/Disney. At WDW people buy vouchers years in advance to lock in the price. Didn't know if this would work at DL. I'm not sure when we're going (probably 2005), and wanted to take advantage of that $20. Coke coupon if I could, and then try to get an AP rate on hotel. Would love to stay on property. Have read of $99. at DH. So far away...I feel a little lost! Thanks so much for trying to help me, dsnylndmom!
