I know! That's exactly my point in my other posts. Value Season is what Disney calls it. No matter what they call it, it's still not really a value, and even worse when they cut back all the shows and entertainment that we have come to expect over the years. And even worse, they apparently refer to the Holiday season as value season in their DCA brochures, even though the parks are usually packed from the week before Xmas until the holiday overlay comes down January 5, and hotel prices go up accordingly. And to add insult to injury people tell you, "well that's what you get for going off season." But it's not off season during the holidays. And if they had the dang calendar up 3 months in advance like they say they will (and usually do) people could possibly make plans and see that they are reducing their offerings and perhaps change their plans to go at a better/later date.
