DJ Recommendations!

Hello everyone,

My fiance and I plan on having a DJ at our reception. Can anyone recommended a DJ that they used a liked off of Disney's list of DJs. Thanks so much!!

Thank you for the recommendation!!! Do I call the and book the DJ myself or does Disney do this for me? My reception is at ADH and it says I have to use a Disney DJ. Will they provide me with a list of DJs that they will allow me to use? IF so, and if anyone has this list could you PM me with it?? Thank you!

My daughter's wedding plannner got us in touch with Frankie C. He was great!!!!!! He has done many many disney weddings.

That's a good question. My wedding planner told me she knew of the perfect DJ for our event and she actually contacted him for us. I would ask your wedding planner for the appropriate next step. I know Scott is technically "outside" of Disney, but he does so many Disney weddings I wouldn't be surprised if you could still use him. He had everyone at our wedding on their feet dancing and having fun. Our guests gave him rave reviews!

We used DJ Scooter. He was a recommendation from our photographer (Misty). He was great and really kept the party going. He played what we wanted and took some requests from some of our guests. We had two little boys (2 and 4) that are Cars (the movie not the group) lovers and he played a song from the move and they went crazy. He also brought along some props.

Hi! We had Scott Messina as well for our wedding and Ken (our WP) also recommended him to us. Scott does have his own company, but holds a contract with Disney- so just tell your WP that he is who you want and they will get in contact with him to see if he's availble for your event.

Scott was absolutely FANTASTIC! I could never say enough good things about him as a person and as a professional. He will email you a form to fill out so he can learn exactly who you are as a couple and be sure to make your wedding what you want it to be. One of my goals for the reception was that everyone would be up and dancing~ and he made that come true. It was the best party- in part because of him! (Every one of our guests told us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to-- including some high-profile guests!)

I can assure you that if you can book Scott- you'll be in for a PHENOMENAL RECEPTION!!

All the "Disney" DJs are contracted, so most have their own websites and companies in the Orlando Area. Each one has to audition for Disney to make sure they are up to Disney quality standards.

Of the DJs who are used regularly, one will be contracted as a vendor by Disney to play your reception (If you have a specific request, you can check with Disney to see if that particular person is available that day). Once assigned, the DJ will contact you to go over all the info you'll need. Rest assured, all of the Disney DJs are top-notch, and Disney will try and match the right one to your wedding.

We are probably going with a DJ for our vow renewal reception. I don't know which DJ to request!

We do not want any of the group dances, like the chicken dance, electric slide, YMCA, etc... I want the DJ to play the specific songs we request and not throw in songs on their own. We want a mix of dance music, 80's music, R&B and some of our favorites from groups like U2. Can anyone suggest who will be a good fit for us?
