Dj Pikey!!!

Sounds like he is the new Que with such a fan club. I hope we'll get to meet him in June!
Who else is currently on the entertainment staff. Those people can add a lot to your cruise experience when they are great like Que was and Robin.

Does anyone know if DJ Pikey will be on Med cruises? I've never had the pleasure of meeting him, but after having DJ (I know don't want to mention their name in case they read this) on our last cruise, there has got to be someone who is friendlier out there!

You are correct. Que is no longer with DCL - I had heard that he is now a cruise director on one of Holland America's cruise ships.

I'm glad to hear he is back on board - I'm hoping he'll stay on for our post-Turkey cruise.....I need to meet this famous man! LOL.

Lampy - He's not going to be biased and award you back-to-back 'best legs' is he? I've been prepping DH for the obligatory waxing necessary to prevail in that particular contest. PS - shouldn't you change your siggy to Nov '06? 'The Ones that Got Away' wouldn't be the same without you.

Apparently Pikey's first crusie back was our March 11-18 Western Caribbean. He was on the entertainment staff and we went to learn to draw with him on Key West morning. When we walked in he recognized us as being on the Panama Canal Cruise back in May 2005 and also rememebred that we were from the DisBoards. He mentioned that this was his first cruise back after being back "home".

P.S. In the Pub night skit...Pikey was the "tennis pro"...

P.P.S. I have heard that the CM's onboard keep up with what's posted on the Disboards!!!!!

Yes, they do. I know they check in here from time to time and LOVE the "atta boys" that goes on and, those LONG letters you write DCL after your sailings....do get back to the CM'S

Just got off the Magic on 4/22. My kids had the best time with DJ Pikey. My older kids(18,23, and 25) said he was the best part of the cruise and always stayed up late to hang with him in Rocken Bar D. A cruise staffer told us his nickname with the crew is Chicken Little. A really special guy.

We were on the the 5/6 Western and had the best time with Pikey and Michael and Travis. I saw PIkey on the first day and said, "Hey you have got to be the famous Pikey. I've been reading about you on the Disboards!" he spun around and said, "Oh My gosh!!! The Turkey Cruisers!!!!" We just had a great time with him after that. Michael even offered to box Pikey up so he could go home with my Gramm.

He acted as part of the cruise entertainment staff on our 7-night Western on May 20th, 2006. He is quite a character for sure. He is immediately likable and heavily spreads the pixie dust at all times of the day. He played the taxi driver in Pub Night.

We just got off of the Magic June 10th and Pikey wa on. That boy is full of energy!!! I wonder how they stay so energized with all of those long hours?

I love this thread! I thought Pikey was hilarious! I was just telling my mom about him last night! I found two pictures of him at the Sailaway Party. The second one is my favorite! My DBF couldn't figure out why I took that picture, but my mom and aunts enjoyed it!

Just returned from the Disney Magic 7day 6/17-6/24 and saw Pikey on board many times, although I never got a chance to talk to him. He assisted in bingo, and I saw him in various entertainment venues around the ship. One morning he was discussing what we would do on an excursion, and used the word "whilst". Another CM challenged him to do a rap in Shakesperean style. He proceeded to "rap" the them song to "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air". What a riot!

During my May 13th cruise this year as I was in the Internet Cafe, I heard Pikey making announcements in the Promenade Lounge to those who were going on an excursion. Just before he left the Promenade Lounge I went over and introuduced myself and told him that many DIS'ers wanted me to say hi from them, to him. As soon as I said, "DIS'ers and the Turkery Cruisers" Pikey replied with, "Oh yes, Tink." That one is for you Lampy!!!

Luckily I had my camera with me, and one of the other CM's took this shot of Pikey and myself.
