So every time I go to Disneyland, I always pick up a couple packs of divinity for my brother. I was going to promise him that I'd get some at WDW for him but then realized that I wasn't sure if they would have it at WDW so I'd like to check because too many things that I like at Disneyland you can't get in WDW like the monte cristo sandwich :(

So, can I find it at WDW and if so, where can I get some? How does it compare to Disneyland if you've tasted both? What about other handmade candies that you can find in DL? I love looking at what's available on the Main Street when I visit DL and grabbing something that looks good so I'm hoping that I can do the same at MK in WDW too.

The divinity actually isn't made in Disneyland. It's made in a factory. You can tell by the label if it says Disneyland and Walt Disney World on it, then it's not homemade candy from Disneyland. So you might be able to find it in WDW but I'm not sure. But no, WDW doesn't have homemade candy like nuttles, peanut brittle, etc that Disneyland has. I wish they did because Disneyland's candy is SO good! :)

Oh boo! :( I'll be sure to warn my brother that it might not be as awesome as Disneyland divinity when I bring some back for him.

I meant that the divinity sold at Disneyland is not made at Disneyland. Disneyland doesn't make homemade divinity. So if you find it at WDW it's the same as the divinity sold at Disneyland. :)

ETA: Disneyland makes nuttles, peanut brittle (sometimes spicy peanut brittle), rocky road, English toffee, and during the holidays, cane canes. But no divinity. Disneyland sells divinity but it's actually made in a factory. Yes I go to Disneyland a lot and eat way too much candy! lol. :)

Oh I get you now! I guess I'll let my brother be the judge after the trip and see if he thinks there's any difference.

My family was kind of in the same boat; we didn't realize that WDW doesn't make the same hand-made confections that they make daily at DLR. We were planning on buying some pecan nuttles at WDW, but when we asked the CMs at the Main Street Confectionery, they said that they don't make those. We did see them making the chocolate dipped caramel apples and Rice Crispie treats in the show kitchens.

As MinnieM21 said, the candy shops in DLR make a wide variety of treats. They also make pumpkin peanut brittle during the fall. The Pecan Nuttles and English Toffee are my family's favorites!
