Dive at Epcot

Has anyone done the scuba dive at the Living Seas in Epcot? I'm going to, wondering if it's good. I've only done ocean dives, but don't want to miss the chance to check this out. It's a little pricey, but it's Disney.
I'm going for it anyway, what's it like?

yep - did it a number of years ago. It was a hoot. Enjoyed it enuf to have even considered doing it again.

You must be a certified diver of course....

and maybe a little bit of a ham

not exactly the most exciting dive - obviously very controlled circumstance - fake reef and docile critters. But a chance to be a CM for a hour or so. Also a neat way to have non-diving family get to see you dive....

I don't know if it still is this way, but back when, they had us dress out and then to get to the tank you went right thru the viewing area. Everyone knew you were going in. Same thing when you came out - right thru the viewing area. They said 'we were CMs while in the tank' and cautioned to act like one or have the dive shortened.... I wonder if they could 'sic a shark on ya?

It is time to do it again tho - the t-shirt wore out.

I've done it, and am going to do it again (I've got a few co-workers that are also divers, and we all want to go together)

It was a lot of fun, nice easy dive, great visibility, no chop and the staff is great.

DH did it some years ago. He had a wonderful time and I know he would love to do it again someday! I don't know if I have ever read about anyone who has done DiveQuest and said that they would not do it again.

I'll be in the tank a month from today about 6:30; wave if you're there.

I won't be doing this, but I strongly considered hiding a knife and fork in my BC, then swimming up to the restaurant and pulling them out.
