That's great, he's so inquisitive!
He loves learning which I am so thankful for. He was cracking us up last night because we were at a friend's house for the Fourth, and one of the kids was hesitant about walking in the grass in the dark. Well, Mark (DH of my friend) said, "Don't worry -- there might be tarantulas, but it is all good." Connor piped up, "Tarantulas are only found in South America and we are not in South America." LOL!
They are really so very neat!
I feel the same way about my son. Especially when we take photos in the same area of the park, or the same attraction, it's really amazing to see the changes.
You know, I don't really notice the changes from day-to-day, but when I see the photos, I am like, "Oh my goodness, they are growing up!"
Connor would like a copy of that!
I don't even know what these things are!!!
I'll just apologize for him right now.........
You know I don't let him keep that wagon parked at home!

I can see why the wagon isn't allowed at home! Some of those things look downright dangerous!
Is this Southern?
I used some context clues to try to determine the meaning but decided to go to Webster to be sure.....
Verb: dither - act nervously; be undecided; be uncertain fret - be agitated or irritated
I didn't think it was southern -- do y'all not use that word in Kansas?
Brother, you have to know the whole story.....
but of course you will have to wait until Wigd gets to that day in her TR!
This sounds promising!
Where are you heading next...
They are pretty cooperative when they want to be.
Your DS sounds so much like Connor -- Connor has a very dry sense of humor as well!
Love your Twilight joke!
Great report!!! I am enjoying it!!!!!
Thank you so much!
Luv the expression on Connor's face...
Me too! I told him to act scared and that's what he gave me!
How awesome that you ran into Anita!! Our kids always seem to know when their antics will annoy us the most, don't they?!
Yes, they do! They seem to have special sensors!
Your tiger pictures are wonderful. The bats... I'll pass on them, thanks!! Kathy
Thanks! The bats were really neat though and you didn't feel like they could fly through the bars or anything.
I dunno where the heck I have been but I'm here now and all caught up. The create your own ears are really neat. I LOVED the Tusker House breakfast when we went as well. Great job so far!
Hi, Kat!

Thanks! Do you have a trip planned soon???
Just got caught up on the updates. We have never done a breakfast at AK and we have never done the jungle trek so two great things we may have to try. Thanks for the info and pictures of them. We found the Boma juice in a store. It's by minute maid, orange/guava and something else. Green container frozen juice. takes you right back there....
Both were super fun! I will have to put the juice on the grocery list -- Chelsea will be thrilled!
I'm glad Connor is comfortable at WDW.
That is the one place in the world EVERYONE should be outgoing
I agree and I am so glad my children feel at home there!
Just discovered your TR, read the whole thing, and laughed out loud A LOT. I was having a "I wish I was back at Disney--real bad!" kind of day, and this was just what I needed! BTW, we were at AKL too June 6 to June 8th and "our spot" at the pool was the one right in front of your balcony (the deck area between the bridge and the slide entrance). It was our first time to stay there as well, and it was such an amazing experience. I am hooked on AKL now--I wish we could stay there every time!!! Great TR--keep it coming!!!!!!

I am so glad you are here and that my TR eased your Disney Blues! I know what you mean about wanting to stay at AKL everytime -- I am having a hard time wanting to stay anywhere else!
I completely agree about the breakfast food at Tusker House. That's too bad about Charles having to go back to the room.
I felt bad that he had to go back, but he needed the rest. I could tell he was just drained.
Awesome pictures during your walk! I love to watch bats - they're pretty cool. Just as long as they're not flying near me.
My feelings exactly!
Looks like the boys and I are going to drive down and meet Chuck halfway and spend a weekend together. The boys and I will probably spend a couple of extra days exploring. I think somewhere north of Atlanta would be about halfway for both of us. Do you have any suggestions? I'd like a smaller city/town that has lots to do - maybe a lake and some museums? I was looking at Gainesville?
The only thing I am sure about with Gainesville is Lake Lanier is there -- there is quite a bit to do there. I am not sure about museums though. I think Dahlonega is near there and they have a whole gold-panning thing going on there -- I am sure there is a museum attached. I hope that helps a little.

Now Atlanta, itself, has quite a bit to do -- Zoo Atlanta, the Carlos Museum, the High Museum, the Center for Puppetry Arts, the Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coke, the Cyclorama...
