Good Sunday Morning Ladies!

Thanks to all for the congratulations! Looks like this will be a really busy really fun summer. Plus it will make the time fly (I hope) from now until my October trip since my last mini vacation will be in September.

Carol - Just curious (for future trips) why would you probably not stay at BWPPI, just the price difference for this time or ever? It does look a bit more "dated" than the Carousel for sure. The beds at the Carousel do look cozy :thumbsup2
It just seemed a little drab compared to the other options for similar price. Nothing too bad, I just prefer a 3 to 4 star experience and it was more like a 2 1/2. :snooty:

Happy Sunday all!

Very lazy weekend here, did a whole bunch of nothing.

Just to let you all know, I'm no longer on Facebook.

Hope everyone has had a super weekend! :goodvibes

I have said no funeral and that I wanted to be made into a diamond. Costs near same as a small funeral. LOL After much thinking about it decided it might be hard on daughter if she lost me. She has told me it would not bother her at all -- kids. Depending on my chemical make up it will determine what color and size I would end up. Sounds so funny to talk about. But Krista wants earrings-- so she can put screw backs on so she wont lose me.

I have toyed with that idea as well, but I have no kids to have the diamond. I do have an adorable niece now though. She will be 4 in May.

Hello ladies :flower3:

Not up to too much, it's been quite around here so I am glad I didn't miss too much. Hope that you all are doing well.

Maddie comes home from California in about an hour. I have missed her so much! It will be nice to hang out with her tonight and get back to our routine tomorrow.

Hope Deb and her family are having fun at Disneyland! :cloud9:

Hope the Divas in WDW are having a blast too! Can't say Im not jealous...I have over a year before our trip. Tick tockin' the days away...:wizard:

Yeah Lisa great minds think alike. If you are very close to that neice I say go for it --- but gotta ask momma first to make sure it would not bother anyone. ( I am the type that thinks visiting a grave site-- is-- well lacking). Now remember I am the wife that told my husband save me at all costs LOL.

I do want to remind people that after death donations are the gift of life to so many. I plan on donating what ever I can that can be used to ease the pain for others.

My soul is already taken -- sharing my "used" earthly body will certainly be a pleasure.

enough of that :)

Hope Sunday is being nice to you all.

I love to hear about new disney plans you are all making.

Laurie, I have heard that Millies is a very good restaurant. I also understand that you can have meals delivered to the fairfield inn behind it. Almost like room service-- but I suspect cheaper. I think this is the restaurant that makes a thanksgiving like dinner. Does it get any better then that, and they serve pepsi. If i do drink a cola type I pick pepsi or drink water-- bottled-- hate la water. I do not think there is anyway to "get used to it". Maybe lemon- with koolaid and lots of sugar LOL

Wow! Finally caught up - things have been crazy around here and I haven't even logged onto the DIS in days!:scared1:

Capri - Hope you enjoyed your spring break. Like your new sig!!:thumbsup2

Katie - LOVE your pictures! I think the one w/ Tinkerbell is adorable. :lovestruc

Sherri - that is awesome about the blog! How exciting!

Should have multi-quoted . . .
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. When do the ladies come home from WDW?

Hello ladies!

Jill, thanks for telling me what Shutters is. Sounds neat!

Theresa, I can't keep up with your trips anymore! LOL

Bridget, yikes on the wasps!!

Wendy, what happened on FB? I hope everything is ok.

Jaunary, glad Maddie is back home!

I can't remember what else I wanted to say. Should've multi-quoted! Oh well, hello to everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. Can't believe it went by so quickly. Then again, they always do. ;)

Question for you (or those of you who stayed at the Carousel Inn) - how were the rooms? We may be coming down for a quick visit and I can get pretty rates at the Carousel. BWPPI comes up as $200 more for the same three nights, so any reason why I wouldn't go with the Carousel? I've never stayed at either.........

Seemed fine to me. It was my first stay there. We normally stay at the BWPPI. Other than the elevator being broken one day, it was just as good as BW.

Evening everyone!!

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend and it sounds like our WDW divas are having a great time now that the weather has settled down!!

I had a very productive weekend!! Friday night we got the girls suits all ordered and we got our sams shopping done yesterday and then today Shelby had her party and she had a GREAT time and Katy went to her friends and although I was a bit stressed about it working out we finally all came to an agreement and found a project that wasn't too complicated and they seemed to get it worked out so that is one more thing checked off the list. They need to have it done for open house which is a week from Wed so glad to have that done esp since swim starts tomorrow and things will be a LOT more hectic from now on!!

Then tonight we went over to mom's and Katy made a REALLY yummy lemon merringue pie from scratch with the lemon's from their tree and it was SO good! We sat out in the back yard by the pool and dad bbq'd and it was so nice to enjoy the outdoors and get a taste of summer!! Shelby's birthday and easter coming up we are excited for those things and hopefully more good weather! It is supposed to cool off a bit and even some more rain this week but I am hoping it won't last too long and we will have our nice weather back real quick!!

I am really excited about the girls field trip on Wed. We are going to see the play Seusical at one of the local high schools so that should be fun and my mom got us tickets to Mary Poppins for my birthday in June (speaking of plays) so I am REALLY excited about that!!

Anywho so that was my weekend.

Hope everyone's upcoming week is looking non-stressful and don't know bout the rest of you but I am def counting down till easter!! ;)

Have a good night all!

Where do you find the coupons? ETA: Never mind, I got the coupons, but according to their website it's sold out at all the Targets near me. Oh well, no biggie.
Sorry about the Yelp party. If I was closer, I'd babysit for ya!
Thanks :cutie: And I was told one Target was sold out, but when I went there, they really were not.
I have stayed at both and liked the Carousel better. We had 4 in our room and it did not seem that bad - definitely fine for two people. I would stay there again - probably not at BWPPI.
It did work out great!
Oh, I know. I have pinkie sworn to help my friend's children scatter hers there.......
For some reason Tom Sawyers Island popped into my head. I mean who would notice a little more dirt....:rolleyes1

So I just learned that the DL half is sold out :sad2: I am on the waitlist so please send me your prayers and pixie dust that I get in! Otherwise my trip to Florida was a waste of money :headache:

On a more positive note, my craft room/spare bedroom is clean!!! Now I can work on my laundry list of projects....if I can find the time! Easter break is almost here....

The end of a busy weekend. Still need to catch up on my reading but wanted to share. My daughter and me went on a last minute day trip to Disneyland on Friday. We usually go around our birthdays (hers was last week). I had the day off so we drove up for the day. It was very hot, crowded but manageable. The longest we waited was for finding nemo which stated 30 minutes but didn't seem like that long. The line for the dole whip was longer than some of the ride lines.
We saw Aladin loved it. (I forgot how much I loved this show we haven't seen in a while) Spent most of our day at Disneyland. We had a great day.

I remeber talk about eating at the Hungry Bear as a group. We ate there for lunch. We shared the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich with the zesty slaw, ordered a side of sweet potato fries, Lemon “Bumblebee” Cupcake, and the Blueberry Pie. We enjoyed it very much. we both loved the sandwich, my DD stated best sandwich she ever ate (wanted another one later on) the zesty slaw was good I enjoyed the sweet potato fries but DD liked the zesty slaw better. She said "we make these fries at home" We each ate half the desserts both were good but enjoyed the meal more.

Tisha being silly before we try the blueberry pie.

A picture I just wanted to share. This was taken when leaving Indiana Jones waiting for a jungle cruise boat to come by to wave at.

So if not for the $200 price difference, BWPPI is fine too?? The pics make it seem a little more "dated" than Carousel.

Thanks!! I loved the pics you took. The beds do look really comfy. I think for this short trip, it makes sense to go with the Carousel :thumbsup2

Good morning, ladies!! Happy Monday! Two more weeks until my kids are on Spring Break and I cannot wait!!
I have one kid home today. Noelle is sick. She has a sore throat. :( Poor thing.

Kelly, sounds like you had a good weekend. Very cool about the Mary Poppins tickets!

Jen, sorry to hear about the DL half being sold out. That sucks. I hope something changes and you are able to get it.

Monica, thanks for sharing those pics! Your DD is so pretty. :) The food looks great! I am really thinking we need one group meal there. It's up to the scavenger hunt committee of course, but I think the suggestion of having that be the end point of the hunt would be great.

Hope everyone else has a great day! I'll be home playing nurse. Gonna go make her some tea now. TTYL! :hippie:

Love the Jungle Cruise picture! Thanks for your Hungry Bear review.
Jen, I hope you make the half! I thought you had already signed up for it...guess that's what I get for assuming.
Beth, I hope Noelle feels better soon.
I hope everyone has a happy Monday!

Good Morning,

I wish it wasn't Monday! I would love to be at home and asleep right now.

I went to DL for a bit yesterday. I didn't stay too long. I arrived in the late afternoon and ended up having to park on the Minnie level. :sad2: That's my least favorite spot. I should have parked in DTD. :P

While waiting to board the tram, there were barely any people in line to board at the time, plenty of seats and room available. Well I was waiting and then this lady and her family shows up, cuts in front of me and gets on the tram. I have this: "WTH" expression on my face like "what just happened??" Then she hits me in the knee with her kid's stroller and doesn't even apologize :headache: I can't stand it when rude guests are so self-absorbed and have no common courtesy. I was also very squooshed between her family and the large stroller. One of her family members said: "Scoot over" at me, like I could really move at all! I just couldn't wait to get off the tram.

This is not just at the parks but I do notice that there are more and more rude people and it's not kids, it's mostly adults! :sad2: Ughhh

Aside from that, I went into WOD and got a vinylmation in a blind box. I ended up getting a cute one:

I also found my gumball Mickey ears hat and was really happy! It came with this:

I think it's funny because he "burst his bubble" :teeth:

This CM in D-Street was showing some guests in line this print out of photos of a set of Sushi Vinylmations. They were relased to Disneyland Paris only :( Boo! Here is a pic:

I like how it's in a bento box and comes with chopsticks. And it's cute how the mini vinylmations are like wasabi and the pink ginger. lol.

FYI- I read that the cost for all the Goofy's Candy Co. stuff in the parks is going to go up in price. I am not sure why but that kinda stinks....not sure what the reason is.
