Yay. 7 more names down, only about 8 more to go I think. Or maybe 10. I dunno, but I'll get them before work tomorrow. I need to think about getting some sleep before I go in to work at 10p.

Before I forget:

- Yeah, I'm not a fan of tie-dye either. My vote on that would be no.

- I don't think I ever saw Mel's other designs that were possibilities for this year. Anyone have pics to post?

- Another color shirt idea I have is a lightish shade of blue. I'm not a fan of navy, lol. Ooh. Or teal, haha. Because I'm obsessed with that color.

January, I hope you feel better!!

I feel like I'm forgetting something but oh well. If I don't sleep before work I'll be dead useless tonight.

I love Mel's shirt too! Do we still have the pics of the other ones Mel came up with??? Maybe one of those would be good for this year?? Or does someone else have any ideas?

I'm assuming not too many people want to go the tie dye route, right :confused3 :hippie:
Actually, I do still have her other design pics. Not sure if they are still something she can do or not. But here they are: (oh, and I think we are done with tie-dye! lol)

I think I've gone farther with some of those TSA agents than I did with any boy in high school (we won't talk college).

:lmao:

Looks like the tie-dye is getting the old heave ho! It was cute when we did it, and the Pixie Hollow photo came out great with all the vibrant color. But I'm with all the "no" votes so far. Time to let that one fade away. :thumbsup2

Just wondering, where do you work that you start at 10 p.m.?
Out here, that's not uncommon with the all night casinos, restaurants and clubs. But most places it's unusual, unless you work in health care or something.

I work in retail -- Target to be exact. Exciting, no? :rotfl: My department deals with the ad signing around the store so we work overnight going into Sunday to take everything down from the previous week and then get everything up for the new sale before we open.

Ooooo Target! I love that place and I must say I have thought about working there myself. I've been at JCPenney off and on for 16 years, mostly just as a second job.

Do you like it there?

I've had my ups and downs there, but you'll get that anywhere. I've been working at my store for about 6 1/2 years now and for the most part it's been a very positive experience.

*sniff* I love tie-dye. I have several that I have bought in the parks. LOL

I like the crown shirt. CUTE!

Well that's good :) I've tried to get into pricing at JCPenney because I like the hours but there is a waiting list
We don't have a super target here in Boise but there is one where I am moving. I told my fiance that if I can't get hired on at the school district I am applying at super target. He didn't like that idea because he said I won't ever bring home any money because I will be spending it all. so true so true.

I like that one too!

I see. I worked retail for many years before I became a stay at home mom. I actually loved it. Started in part time sales and worked up to full time manager. Working with the different customers was fun, although now I'd probably prefer a job like yours. The older I get, the less patience I have for customers, especially annoying ones. lol

It is cute. I think all the designs are fun.
OH, and I love your Elvis Stitch! Very cool. :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: Amen! When Adam was a baby I worked at Gymboree and we got a 50% discount on everything, even clearance. Needless to say he was always dressed head to toe in Gymboree clothes, and I didn't bring home much of an actual paycheck.

50% off  Wow!
Gymboree would be hard to work for if you have a baby or toddler. They have some ADORABLE stuff in there. I'll bet he looked so cute in all his gymbo clothes.

It was fun working there part time after having my first baby. And when I was pregnant with him, I was managing a Motherhood Maternity store, so that discount came in handy too. I figure if you have to work somewhere it might as well be someplace where you can benefit from the employee discount. :thumbsup2

I guess now I'd need a job at Disneyland so I can benefit from that! LOL

Laurie, I am loving ALL your pics on Shutterfly. Dang girl, you really took a lot.
I am awful with my camera. I always bring it and then forget to actually use it.

Off to check out more of your pics!

Theresa-- I always fail the metal detector (because of my replaced knees) so I get the pat down too. Used to be they wanded you--nice and not very invasive. Now, OMG!!!!!!!:scared1: Seriously, even though the TSA agent (always a woman at least) tells you what they are going to do it's still shocking--and out in front of people too! When Brandy and I went to WDW last November she couldn't believe it.

I think I've gone farther with some of those TSA agents than I did with any boy in high school (we won't talk college).

Next time I'm requesting a cute guy, I don't care. Might as well enjoy it, right??? Maybe buy me a drink beforehand though :rolleyes1

Blue or teal would be a great color too :thumbsup2

Don't be hating the tie-dye :sad2:

Don't worry, I like tie-dye too. They just have no sense of style :hippie:

BTW - I like the crown tee too.

I've been checking out the M&G pics on Shutterfly and it looks like everyone had a great time. Some cute outfits!

NO!!

Hehe ;) Of course, Cathy! Any character/color preferences?

Ummmm.....Probably red and since my love is of Goofy, and my name is Goofycathy, Im gonna say GOOFY!!! I would love it so much!! :lovestruc Thanks Jess, your the best!!!!

No for tye dye for me too, please.

Jazz, can you make me a name siggie too? Pink-ish with Belle? Thank you. :goodvibes

:rotfl: When we went to San Jose a couple weekends ago the TSA (a woman) was rubbing my hair (which was in a bun), I guess she was looking to see if I had anything hidden in it. It startled me.

I'm glad you're enjoying them....I tend to take un-posed pics.....I do get some of those as well....but I'd rather capture the moments. Have one more day's worth to post from the Girl's Trip......if I hadn't been such a hermit (homesick & not feeling the best) There would have been twice as many. I love taking pics!!

I have retail burnout right now, but I will say that getting a discount is nice.
DL is my dream employer:cloud9:.
