Afternoon all! I checked in this morning before I went to work but didn't have time to post and as usual 4 or 5 pages EEK!
Well there is lots I want to say but since I will NEVER master the multi quote thing I am sorry if I forget stuff.
But the first thing I wanted to mention that I remember is Marie I loved Love and Other Drugs. We hadn't rented movies since January so I rented a bunch last weekend and then again yesterday and I have really liked all of them. It seems in the past when I have rented movies I usually get 4 or 5 at a time and there are always a few that look or sound good but then are weird but so far everything has been really good. That one is a little strange but I really liked it. It has some strong sexual stuff including Anne Hathaway doing the full monty but otherwise I enjoyed it!
And Beth I liked the Next Three Days. You were right it was kind of slow in the beginning but I really liked the end! I love thrillers!! Oh and I let the girls get Megamind today and I got a couple scary ones for myself. I really like scary movies but not GORE so I am hoping that these are like that. One is called my soul to take and the other is Let me in. I got Case 39 last week and that one was pretty creepy!!
I really like the new menu items at HB and I hope they taste as good as they look!! That has ALWAYS been one of our fav places and we usually always eat there as a family but I must admit on our trip there in June the hamburgers were AWFUL! Smaller than they used to be and REALLY dry! I was really dissapointed because we had always liked their food in the past so I am really hoping they have improved it! But I have always LOVED sitting on the top deck and it is a great place to just sit and relax!
And I have seen those kitties several times and had them come up and let us pet them!!
The older I get the more I sit and relax and let the kids ride rides. Now that they are older and esp since the next time they go they have phones now. Last trip was the first time mom and I let them go on a few rides by themselves while we sat at the exit but this time it will be better since they will have their phones just in case. I am getting more and more to where I enjoy just people watching or enjoying the scenery or weather. I know I know I am becoming an old fart LOL.
Not that I don't enjoy rides but I just like to relax and soak up the atmosphere and let the kids have fun. But I still love to shop!!
That is why I am excited about Company D!!!! I have never gotten to go and as I mentioned they no longer bring the outlets here anymore so I am SO excited about that.
Oh and I like the idea of doing HB maybe after the scavy hunt only because mom and I usually never make the lunch on Thurs. I usually can't get a flight till at least noon because I have to get the girls off to school and such and mom and I usually never get in till around 2ish. So we usually always miss the lunch.
Anywho the girls got their report cards today and did REALLY well so we celebrated by having "breakfast" after school and then as I mentioned I let them get megamind and now we are home trying to stay dry. We got spoiled with a little sun in February and now march has been super wet. It rained all week and is forcast to rain all next week as well!
As Lisa said we have flood watches in effect so I think the girls and I will be sticking close to home!
