Start spreading the news, Im leaving today
I want to be a part of it - new york, new york
These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it - new york, new york

Once we were done with lunch at Dick's Last Resort we made our way over to New York New York.

We weren't there for even 5 minutes when Marcie met someone in front of Coyote Ugly.

I wasn't right there so no pic of him. But he did ask for her number. I will say he must have been smart because he called the number before she stepped away to make sure it was the real one.

We hung around NY NY for a bit. Checked out a few shops and such, as well as taking pics all over the place.

Then we headed back across the street to go to the M&M store. But before we made it there, we stopped into a tourist shop. While there we decided to get tattoos.

Once we were done hanging out and goofing around the M&M store, we made our way back to MGM to grab our cars and head back to the condos. We were needing to get ready for our big night out. The walk back was horrible. Seemed like it took forever to go a few doors down. Then having to walk all the way to the back of the place to get to the car. ACK! But we did it. All sweaty and tired though.

Next up.....BLT Burger.

Once back at the condo we all started getting ready for our first real night out. Cheryl had now joined up with us and was ready for a some Vegas fun! We got dressed up and had a cocktail or two before we headed out for the night.

Beth and Cheryl were kind enough to be the DDs for the evening.

Our night was going to happen at the Mirage. We first were going to have dinner at BLT Burger, then see Love, and follow it up with some drinks and dancing at the Revolution lounge.

On the way to the Mirage I told Cheryl about my Lexus incident. Hence my tag. We had a good laugh over that one. We arrived just as the other car load did. Jane, Wendy and Amy met up with us for dinner as well.

Stacie and I went to pick up the tickets from will call while the rest went to get us a table for dinner.

All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
All you need is love (all together now)
All you need is love (everybody)
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

After dinner we made our way over to the theater to see Love. Was one of the shows I totally wanted to see while in town.

ry%3D400

Beth originally was not going to the show with us. But we were able to surprise her with a ticket.

We finally got into the theater and had really good seats. The show started and was great. But then there was a technical difficulty and the show was stopped. It seemed like quite a long time before the show got started again. While we were waiting they showed some videos and such on the screens.

Finally the show was back on. It did appear that we missed one of the numbers though. But over all it was a great show. Not the best Cirque show I have seen. This one has less tumbling and tricks than others. But a ton more dancing. It was very entertaining and you can't help but love the music. I would go see it again.

Next up.....Revolution Lounge.

Lovin' every minute. Everyone looks so pretty tonight.:cutie:

Thanks for letting us enjoy the trip along with you guys, Stacie.:)

Lexus Tinkler. :rotfl2:

Yay for Love!

For some reason I could go for some M&M's right about now.

Great update Stacie! :cool1:

Those Fried Pickles were so good. I would definitely order those again. In fact, I did the following weekend when Ruben and I went to eat at BLT on our anniversary. :goodvibes

Love is such a good show! I really enjoyed it. That was the second time I've seen it and while it was unfortunate that it was stopped for a bit, I still had such a great time. It is more upbeat and fun than some of the other Cirque shows. That and KA are my faves. Very different, but both very good.

THANK-YOU to all the divas who helped make it possible for me to go! :grouphug: I swear y'all are too good at keeping secrets! I was clueless. :rotfl:
