So what is your Malibu and cranberry mix concoction???

Its just Malibu rum with cranberry juice. Sometimes I mix it up and try different juices with it. Right now I am loving the white cranberry and peach juice. Soooo yummy!

Being as this was the first time rooming with Stacielee I tried my best to be a good roomie. I have some sleep issues that usually keep me up most of the night, tossing and turning, and yes, even snoring. But I tried to be as still as I could considering we were sharing a bed.

I don't think I ever turned over that night. I was pretty exhausted and when I finally woke, I was still in the same position that I fell asleep in. Great! I am sure she was able to get a good night sleep.

So I very carefully roll over a bit to see if she is still asleep. But she's not there. Wow, she must have gotten up early and is already in the bathroom. But I hear no sound. Yikes, hope she isn't sick in there. I wait to hear her though. And nothing. Wonder what is up with her at this point.

Heck, could it be that she is already up and ready? Could all of them be waiting for me to get up? I look at my phone to check the time. Nope, its still darn early. Maybe they are all out in the kitchen having coffee and breakfast?

I get up and try to be stealth checking to see where they are. I open the door and check into the living room. There is Stacie sleeping on the couch. Hmmmm? Wonder why she went and did that. Thinking maybe the bed was uncomfortable or that she couldn't sleep and didn't want to wake me. How sweet right?

Turned out that my snoring drove her from the room. And she even had ear plugs!! I didn't realize I was that bad. I knew I snored, but wow. She couldn't take it and slept on the couch.

Stacie said the couch was comfy and that the AC blew right on her so it was fine. But dang....I drove her from the room. I felt crappy. Plus, I had the entire king size bed to myself and didn't even know it.

So since everyone was still sleeping, I climbed back into the bed, turned on the tv, and relaxed till everyone else was up.

Up next....Where are the Lions? And did he just call us hookers?

Nice update. Poor Stacie. LOL Although she did swear the couch was really comfy.

The couch was VERY comfy, especially when I figured out that I could take the back cushions off and have even more room! Unfortunately, I didn't figure that out until the last night!! I don't usually have good luck with sleeper sofas so I didn't ever pull it out to try it out.

And NO, we are NOT hookers!! We are ... lookers!! Yeah, that's it!!

Eventually we all were up getting ready for the day. And it was gonna be a long day ahead. Our plans were to head to MGM, then to Excalibur, on to New York New York, hit a few more stops along the strip, M&M store and more. Grab lunch somewhere in between too. And this was all supposed to be before we went back to change to go out this evening! So yeah, it was gonna be a long day.

Surprisingly, it was easy to get ready and no one really got in anyone else's way. Which was really odd since Marcie had such huge rollers. Well, you know they like it big in Texas.

Theresa came a calling and we were just about ready. We piled into the Max*Ma and made our way out of the resort. First stop was the MGM. It was a super short ride since we took the back way. I don't even think we went a whole block. But dang, the parking was soooooo far from the place. Damn!

The plan was to hang out a bit and check out the lion habitat that they have there. Sounds fun right? Well it would have been if there wasn't a million people standing around and the lions were actually there.

While the five of us were waiting, Beth joined up with us. We waited for the lions. And waited and waited. We weren't alone though. Seems half the strip was waiting too. There was an announcement that they were being held up and would be here shortly.

Finally they showed up. There were some ohhhs and awwws about the lions. They were cool and interesting, but only for a bit. They just kinda laid there and didn't do much of anything.

Once done watching the lions we headed out to hit as many places as we possibly could. Next stop was to be Excalibur. Mostly because we were starving and that's where we were having lunch. Well, Dick's Last Resort to be exact.

We stopped and had a few photo ops along the way.

Have anyone seen this before at the hotel?

We are able to find Dick's Last Resort quickly.

The place doesn't have many people inside. And the hostess seemed less than happy to want to seat us. She took us around a few tables then ended up seating us right next to the podium. Ok, I see where this is going now.

When we first got there, the bartender, who we soon after found out was Taco, was having a sing along to Grease. Never realized the lyrics were so dirty until Taco pointed them out. He also did his own version of the Belagio fountains. Using the water hose behind the bar. Classic.

Our waiter came to the table and tossed butcher paper to cover the table and our silverware at us. Told us to stop being lazy and set the table.

We were also made to serve our own drinks.

Marcie did get her drink delivered to her. She wasn't sure what size margarita she wanted, so as she walked away, I just said bring her the biggest one you have. To our surprise, it was the size of a super big gulp. 100 ounces!!!!!!

Our waiter came back and asked us if "Are you hookers ready to order???" Wow, never would call us hookers. But whatever. We ordered and he went away. But not for long. He came back with homemade hats for all of us.

They were having trouble figuring out how to get the paper hat over Stacie's hair. They did let her know that Michael Jackson called and asked for his hair back. Something that became very ironic given what happened a few days later.

Marci did end up getting a special treat from Taco. A special dance just for her.

Our food was good. Typical bar food, but yummy.

Lunch there was a blast. We had one of the best meals. Not a family friendly place. But very nice for adults to be silly and have some fun.

Next up.....Marci met who? And who wants a tattoo?

I saw when he climbed on top of her. They are Vegas lions after all. The funniest part was the roar of laughter that erupted from the crowd when that happened.

That thing in the elevator looks like a book of matches to me.

I've been a bad girl......I have yet to add my pics to the Shutterfly account. But I only have a few, and most are repetitive. But here's what I have from Dick's.

Marcie waiting for her lap dance from Taco. I got the whole dance on video, but I can't figure out how to turn it. When I shot it, I had the camera up and down, and when I loaded it to the computer it loaded sideways. Now I don't know how to turn it around so you are not viewing it sideways.

Chow time! My pasta was really good.

After the dance, Taco came over to visit with our table and he was really a nice, funny guy.

I gave him my camera to take pics of us as a group and he took pics of his name TACO tattoed on his stomach and of his G-string instead. lol

Then he took a group shot of us.

I had so much fun there! It's a great place, but like their sign warns "If you're not here to have fun, you're in the wrong damn place." They don't call themselves the "Shame O' The Strip" for nothing.
