Diva & 27th Anniv Trip w/1500+ Pics, Photopass starts #765!!

Just spent my first cup a joe reading your TR and loving it. The bags, the shoulder bag, the plans the change of plans, and that ring!!!! whew!

This Diva's trip sounds like something right up my alley. Too bad I have plans for late Feb. already with the family. I am already dreaming up a trip for my b-day in Oct. and maybe a mini diva trip of my own with my 7th dd in Nov. These AP are crazy and my year is filling up with dreams of Disneyland trips. But, you know me.....I'm trying to take it ONE trip at a time. ;)

Keep us posted on what's new. Looking forward to all the great pictures the Papparazi Princesses will be taking!!

You know...you could always stop in for a quick day trip during the ladies trip to just get to know some of us, even if you can't do the whole thing!! The large group can be a bit overwhelming, it's wonderful to know people before you start out!

That's exactly what I plan to do. I only met handful of girls in 2009, it was still really nice. I wish I could do one of the big group pictures with everyone but we leave on Saturday and that's when I think you guys do it.

I have never done the PFF and have always wanted to. With only having a little boy with me the princesses are always a no go for us. :rotfl:

:woohoo: Getting excited as this trip draws closer & closer!! :woohoo:

Still need to order our WoC picnic from the Disneyland website, but I won't be able to do that until Thursday.

I decided to add a few surprises every evening during our stay at the PPH. I called Vacation Planning to see about modifying one of their "In Room Celebrations".....but they are unable to make changes to them, so I decided not to go that route. I was looking at the Mickey & Minnie in love one but wasn't interested in the spa basket at all & was hoping to go with something different. Oh well........ But I did add a few goodies:

On Monday evening when we return from dinner at the Napa Rose, we will find a Balloon Bouquet & 2 Champagne Glasses with Sparkling Cider. We're not champagne drinkers & may already have had a cocktail at dinner.....so figured cider was the way to go.

On Tuesday evening when we return from our late dinner at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen, we'll come back to find a tray of Tuxedo Strawberries. Now I'm not a big fan of putting chocolate & fruit together....but I really wanted to try these & figured this would be a great time to do so.

On Wednesday evening when we return from watching the World of Color show, we will find Mickey Rice Krispy treats & milk waiting for us. Hopefully this time we actually get the rice krispy treats......in 2009 when we stayed a couple nights at the DLH.....I ordered this & we ended up with the Mickey shortbread cookies. They were ok, but a bit on the dry side & definitely NOT rice krispy treats......YUMMO!

So now I really need to stop planning.......trying to make the trip with Mike a little more relaxing!!

Have you ever thought about using some of that refund to get a couple of webcams so you and the girls can see each other since they don't do the phone? Your new laptop might even already have one built in.

My laptop does have it & so does my sons who is coming down to stay with the kids....unfortunately he won't be able to bring his computer with him....his fiance will need it for schooling. We're thinking about getting one for our home computer.....my son was suggesting us learn Skype so we could video chat with the twins.

Is it easy to do?? The thought of being on camera while on the computer creeps me out.....lol Not much for being on the front side of a camera.....like being behind it. :rotfl2:

Not hard at all and you still have over a month to play with it so you will feel comfortable besides you will be too busy looking at the girls to care about being "in front of" the camera. Hey you might even consider it a tool to get them to interact a little, you never know what will work.

Hi ... I've been enjoying reading your TR's and just wanted to chime in on Skype. I don't know much about computers etc, but we downloaded it on our computer and the grandparents put it on theirs and my kids just love "talking" to them via Skype. My DS5 usually won't say more than 2 words on the phone, but is more than happy to see Granny and Grumpy on the computer and has a lovely chat with them. Give it a try! :goodvibes And I hope that your trip is as wonderful as can be, you certainly deserve some time out.:hippie:

Thank you for stopping by......I guess I really should look into this video chatting.......I'm not super computer smart.....but this really might be a great way to deal with our absence.

Looks like you have a trip coming up as well!!!! Hope it's *+*+*magical*+*+*!!

We rode the Jungle cruise at night for the first time on our Christmas trip. Amazing how you can find something new about a ride you have probably rode 100 times. Don't think I ever would have thought of it without the DIS and all 3 of us loved it!

We already had discovered that riding Big Thunder Mt RR at night was a totally different experience.....so looking forward to seeing that with the Jungle Cruise ride.

Some of my favorite and must do things!!

Sweet!!! Disappointed that I'll miss Captain EO.....really wanted to get to it last summer......read somewhere that it's coming out this month....so it will be gone before my trip.

Maybe I can hope for the Little Mermaid ride opening really early in March!!! They still haven't listed an opening for that....just spring.....well March 3-10 is spring!!! :rotfl:

So I just ordered our WoC picnic meals for Wednesday, March 9!! :woohoo: I get to see WoC twice on this trip....one from the preferred dining area (which we did last summer) & now from the picnic viewing area.......really excited!!!

Where did you read that about Captain EO? I haven't heard anything about it being removed.

One of the Disney blogs......refurb schedule saying that the Honey I Shrunk the Audience was coming back. Can't remember which one....but gonna go look again.

I can't find anything on it now.....wondering if they changed their minds?? It either came up as a post on FB from one of my many Disneyland pages or I read it a few months ago as an upcoming closure/refurb. I know I read it was closing in February & Honey was coming back......I had commented to my hubby that I was disappointed we didn't make it to it last summer because it would be gone prior to the Diva trip......but can't find a thing on it now. :cool1: Maybe it will still be going & I'll get a chance to go to it!!!!

Sounds good. I had not heard about Capt. Eo.

I know I read it somewhere, but can't find it now......its not on any of the closures for refurbs & such.......so either I'm totally on drugs......or they scraped that idea (maybe it was one of those rumors)??
