distripplanner.com / disney dining plan question (cost of snacks)

I was using the distripplanner.com site to plan my meals and decide if we should get a dining plan or not and I found something confusing.

I selected that I wanted 2 snacks per person per day. Under the Using No Plan section it shows the cost of snacks as $188. Under the Using Quick Service Plan it shows the plan would cover $188 worth of snacks and I would not have to pay for any snacks out of pocket.

What is confusing me is that the QS dining plan only includes 1 snack per person per day. So shouldn't only $94 be covered by the dining plan and I'd have to pay for the other $94 out of pocket? Or is there something that I am missing that is the reason it's included?

I've attached some screenshots to show the example.

Those planners use average prices and aren't very accurate. Your best bet is to do a spreadsheet and look up actual prices of what you think you are going to eat and then compare those to the price of the plan.

Nope nothing, but I do love your icon :)

Lol. Thanks. It cracks me up every time.

I'm not sure what to do about the pictures. Basically it's just showing that using no plan snacks cost $188 and using the QS plan that $188 is covered by the plan and there is $0 cost out of pocket. I'm thinking since the 2017 plans include 2 snacks this is a glitch and is adding 2 snacks to the plan when it shouldn't be.

I will probably do that. I don't know exactly where we want to eat yet. I think we may just wing it. So I was looking for an average. But we're planning to eat at F&W a lot so I wanted specifically to get an idea about the snack cost since I can use snack credits at F&W.
