I've never seen any type of map or guide outlining the specific distances between attractions. EasyWDW has an estimated walking time tool and according to it, it should take approximately 7 minutes at a moderate pace.

On one of the mapping thingys online (think it was Google Maps) you can get the walking distance from one attraction to another.... well at least I could do this for Epcot.
You get the name for the attraction by hovering your cursor over it. (I did France Pavillion) then type that in the open box on the left. Select the walking icon and "get directions". Do the same with your chosen destination (For me it was TT). It will show you the route and the approx walking time.
You might have to play around with it a bit... for ex, it kept auto-changing my origin point from France Pavillion to the service road that runs behind the pavillion.

Download Google Earth, it will allow you to measure out any distance you want.

Nowhere near a mile- I'd bet 1/4 of a mile. The average person walks maybe 2-3mph I think.

I use mapmyrun.com to map distances. From Dumbo to Pirates is .44 miles. So 8 minutes is probably a good estimate. Nothing is that far, especially in MK. I usually just plan on 5 minutes between any two rides unless that are on completely opposite sides (like these two) and then I assume 10. But it will almost always be less. I'm pretty sure the longest gap between 2 rides in the park is Big Thunder and Barnstormer. Still barely over half a mile apart.
