Hi Everyone my name is Lauren I am am 23 years old and i live in Claremont Tasmania Australia.

I am mad about disney, I have been to disneyland 3 times and am currently trying to decide if I want to go to walt disneyworld.

Anyways I would love to make some friends that i can write to who live in america and get to know you, and one day eventually maybe even meet up with you.

Kind of like a penpal via the net lol.

Anyways anyone who is interested just let me know but as i said before would love to get to know lots of you.

Thanks Lauren

Hi Lauren! Welcome to the DisBoards. I think the BEST way to make new friends will be to jump right on in and join in on every thread you can. :) I hope to see you more often!

G'day mate! :) And the warmest of welcomes to you! :flower3:

Indeed a long flight for you, all the way to California. I hope that you have a wonderful time, during your next visit to Dl. and that your flight will be a most comfortable one.
Please feel free to p.m. me, whenever you may wish to. :)

Hey Lauren!! :welcome: to the DisBoards!

I'm a Cali girl myself, and have done Disneyland many times in my long ago youth. I am heading back to DL next week to see my godson march in the parade. DL has changed so much in the 11 years since I've been I am quite apprehensive about going.

I have done WDW more recently. Ironically, I have an Annual Pass to WDW and in the past year have gone 4 times, but can't manage that one hour flight to Anaheim from San Francisco!

Funny thing is, I just cancelled a trip to WDW in December so we could use that vacation time for a trip to Australia!!

In 2005 my DH and I did 5 weeks in Australia. We did Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Cairns, Dunk Island, Uluru, Alice Springs, King's Canyon, Coober Pedy, Adelaide, the Barossa Valley, Melbourne, and Kangaroo Island.

Next March we're doing another few days in melbourne (F1 race, hopefully), Perth, Margaret's River wineries, Kalgoorlie/the Goldfields, and a week in TAS!!! 3 weeks in total for this trip.

Have another trip planned for an unspecified year to visit the Top End.

Your country is just so darn BIG.

Greetings and :welcome: to the DIS Forums!

I am new to these forums and, of course, I am mad about Disney ;). I grew up visiting Disneyland on a steady basis and I'm currently hoping to head over to WDW for the first time next spring. I'm 18 years old and will be heading to university this coming fall...but not without my collection of Disney DVDs and plushies :lmao:

I would love to become internet pen pals with you! Feel free to contact me via Yahoo, MSN or PM :)

Take care and have a magical day :upsidedow

Hey Lauren welcome to the boards! WDW would be a great choice! It would be soooooo much fun. I just got back from a trip from there, it rained the whole time but it was soo much fun I wouldn't trade it. :P

I'm in AZ right so DL is just a hope skip and a jump for me. My in laws live in San Diego so I make an excuse to drive up to LA just so I can go to Disney. Hahah.

Anonymousegirl - You'll love the Margaret River area. Beautiful wineries (make sure you do a tour or two) and lovely scenery. There are some gorgeous caves down that way too. I live in Perth and LOVE Western Australia, although we are the 'sleepy' side of the country.

I agree, you'll love Margaret River! I'm getting married down there and the area is just gorgeous.

Hey there Lauren - welcome to the boards!!

Looks like we're about the same age, lol. I'm a Northern California girl who loves to plan as many possible trips to Disneyland as I can afford to go on (or really afford to miss work for). I'm 22, and planning on going back to celebrate my 23rd birthday in September. I did WDW when I was about a year old or so, but that was too young to remember. One day I will make it out there!

Would love to get to know you here on DIS, and if you'd like to contact me through Email I'm always up for it ;)

Hi Lauren,

I'd love to be your friend! My name is Bridgette and I'll be celebrating my 25th in DL on July 16th. I'm moving to California in 2 weeks and I won't know anybody. Feel free to PM me!
