Disposable Rain Poncho

Okay, we got the real rain ponchos. Will we need them much around Christmas?

we use the cheap ones but for Kali river rapids.....they tear easily and we throw them away. they seem fine for 1 or 2 time use. used them a few years back a few days in a row when it was raining. by the 2nd day we were piecing together the pieces.

Piecing together the pieces...... .....I can definately relate.
I can laugh now.....but let me tell you....I was fuming while it was raining on my head!!

I have a rain jkt that folds into its pocket and is very compact. It is Coleman brand and while I paid about $30 for it, I've had it for over 5 yrs and it still shows no signs of wear yet.
Keep my fingers crossed that it lasts for our Aug 09 trip.

I used to have a windbreaker that folded into its pocket. I think I might invest in one of those.

They are. I have 2 different kinds right now packed away in my "Disney bin". Both state on the front "Disposable Emergency Poncho". At least they're not expensive.

I see you have a Disney bin too! My family thinks I'm completely nuts for buying vacation stuff six months out.....so my Disney bin.....is the luggage I wait till they're not looking and sneak my purchases in there.
I can't help myself....Luckily I can be myself on the boards!!!

Not too sure about the weather in December, but any chance of rain is reason enough to carry those ponchos.

However I do hate to lug them around....in vain!
