I keep seeing posts mentioning disposable placemats. Where do you find these?

I looked at Wal-Mart but couldn't find anything like this.

TIA,
Shannon

They're called Table Toppers and are usually in the baby department at Walmart and Target. Here's a link to their site: http://www.tabletopper.com/ and a link to a site that sells them: https://www.inventiveparent.com/tabletopper.htm

I also found something similar at the Dollar Store, however the major difference was they were simply plastic placemats that didn't have the adhesive strips, so pretty worthless for my ds as he would just swipe the whole thing off the table if it's not stuck right on.

If you want to save some money though, I have a co-worker friend who told me they use the "press and seal" saran wrap stuck to the table top and he says it works just as well. Just thought I would mention that.

HTH!

I can only get them at Babies R Us here. They don't have them at Target.

Thanks ya'll. I checked the Table Toppers website for stores in this area. The only place it looks like that I can get these is at Rite Aid or BabiesRUs -- no Target or Wal-Mart. :(

I saw on BabiesRUs.com that there are "refill" packs. Except for the number of them, are these any different than the regular 20-pk ones you get at the store? Why is it called a "refill"? Is there a container these come in originally?

I used to get them at Toys R Us in the baby section. They were a lifesaver when ds was younger.

I got mine at Burlington Coat Factory Baby Depot. They were great. The ones I bought at the Dollar Store had no tape on the back. They worked for a few minutes then DD tried to act out the old whip the tablecloth out from under the dishes trick like a magician......food everywhere. Spend the extra money and get the "good" ones! I have ones with Precious Moments and some with Zoo Animals on them. Someone told me they make Blues Clues but I have not seen them.

I bought these for DS and ever since I started using them (he was 8 mos. or so) he would immediately rip them up off the table! You guys are lucky your little ones haven't figured that one out yet!

I finally gave up and let him eat off the table when we are out. Not much else I can do since plates will end up on the floor at restaurants...at least at home I have plastic for him to use.

The press and seal Saran wrap seems like a great idea. Thanks for mentioning it. I found my Table toppers at CVS.

Actually if you go to http://www.tabletopper.com/ right at the top it says "Now available at Target" and has the Target logo, the Babies R Us and Toys R Us logos are right above it. The ones I bought in the baby aisle at Target were the Blues Clues ones.

I think the ones you found on Amazon.com are the same thing. I don't know why it says "refill" - thats kind of a confusing description. The ones I bought at Target just came folded up in a ziploc baggy.

We call them paper towels in the south. :rotfl2:

Just bought some the other night at Babies R Us. They have Elmo on them and run $8.99 for 20.
