How do you guys store or display your Mickey ears once you get home? We have several pair that are just thrown on top of stuff so they don't get smashed. I'm wanting dh to come up with some kind of display, but we're both drawing a blank. Any ideas?

My DD has taken her Mickey ears hats and put them on her stuffed animals on a shelf. She has also done this with the Mickey bobble-head headbands. Not exactly what I would consider a formal display, but it definitely keeps them out of the way, free from being crushed and it looks cute. It's easy access when she goes to grab them for the next tripp too. ;) Now being the big kid myself, I have a stuffed pooh bear and eeyore on a shelf in my closet-one is wearing my Year of a Millions Dreams hat and the other is wearing my red and white minnie mouse hat with the ears on it. :rotfl:

This isn't very creative but I took DD's and actually hung them on the wall. Simply by putting a nail in and putting the ears flat against the wall. She has a framed print of the MK in her nursery and I put the ears on each side of it. It looks really cute.

That sounds really cute betsy, do you have a picture by any chance? I'd love to see how it looks!

I don't have then anywhere special. Our wedding ears are on top of a bookshelf. Our traditional ones are packed somewhere. And our Christmas hats (with ears) are in with our Christmas stuff. At some point I do want them all together and nice (Minus the Christmas ones cuz they are once a year special!).

I'd be happy to post a pic! I will take one once DD is finished napping and get it uploaded. Thanks :goodvibes

We just came back from WDW on Friday and we spotted a great baseball cap display stand that is for sale at the store that sells baseball caps at Orlando Airport (don't know the name of the store but it is by the food court near Krispy Kreme). We have the same idea for displaying our son's collection of Mickey Ears.

Here you go Deann! It's nothing major but it at least displays them. I plan on getting her more as the years go on so I will eventually have them surround the picture.

bump!

I'd like to add our Mickey ears (bride and groom for me and DH, infant ears for DS) to our wall display in our basement, but I'm not sure how to do it. Maybe adding a wall shelf to sit them on.

I'd love to see your pic Betsy, but it's not showing up.

For those of you that keep them out or on bookshelves, do they get dusty?

Thanks!

Mine's kinda funny, until we moved recently I was storing my YOAMD ears on the antenna for my DSL router on top of our family room tv. I thought it looked really cute. Our collection of snowglobes (cheap plastic, not nice ones) sat neatly underneath the ears thay way. I haven't unpacked them yet from our move.

Hi Lindybug,

The pic should now be displaying above!

See ya!

We have ours displayed on a shelf in the china cabinet in our dining room.
