I collected many pins during our last trip and want to display them in a frame to either sit on a shelf in a display unit...like a curio cabinet....or hang up on the wall. Does anyone have any good websites to find display cases like these?

Any craft store will have a selection of shadow boxes...

Here's something we just put together over the weekend to display some of our pins...simple and inexpensive. (black felt over cardboard cut to the frame...we stored the backings in a shoebox)

That looks really nice..I never thought to store the backings cutting down on the width.....DIS Boards to the rescue again!

We have some framed sets but we also just use plain old cork boards. Just push the pins in and there you go. If you wanted to dress it up just get some fabric and cover it, most of the frames will pull off and then you can just put them back, or you can simply push the fabric under the frame using a butter knife. :) We got ours at WalMart for $5.

If you get a deep enough frame you can get spacers to leave room between the glass and the pins

Has Shadowboxes for about $22 on sale with the coupons, or the in store deal...We have about 12 of these....They hold close to 60 pins per case....The doors open, and the pins stay put in the back, and you can just put the pin back mickey heads away.....SOMEWHERE on this board I posted pics of ours....

I'm feeling like a total dork for not being able to figure out the mechanics of this. Do you just push the pins through the felt and cardboard they stay? Even without the backs? I really want to make one of these for DH.
