At my office, I have a 24" HD video frame that I built from a computer monitor, a WD TV Live, and a USB drive. At home, I'm working on doing something similar with our soon-to-arrive 50" TV downstairs.
Can you elaborate more on how you've set up being able to show pictures with your WD TV Live? I bought my husband a setup including that, for Christmas this past year. We have a terrabyte of memory that we have ripped all of our DVDs to. We have also run ether wire (sp?) from the computer in the bedroom to the TV in the living room.
I have figured out how to stream my music folder to the front of the house, from the computer. However, whenever I want to stream my pictures everything locks up and I get an error and have to restart the system (DirectTV).
Hopefully what I'm typing is correct. I'm not exactly sure how it all works together, but I know that's what we've got.
Can you stream music AND your photos to your TV, or does it have to be either or?
