Displaying kid's 1st Mouse Ear hat

I'm hoping some of you super creative folks can give me some ideas, maybe show me pictures of what you've done. I'm putting a small collage of Disney stuff on my hallway wall. All the frames are black. I have 3 5x7 family photos in front of the castles at DL & WDW, an old ticket book, an Small World Mary Blair postcard, a big black wooden "D", a couple small pics of kids with characters. I want to add my 2 children's first mouse ears. How should I do this, maybe shadow boxes???

Any ideas or photos of how to display mouse ears?
