We put together a video that we sent to our family so they could see what our trip was like last year (Sept. 2K). This isn't your traditional, "fall asleep watching it" video. It doesn't even have many pictures of us (other than the funny ones). I think you'll all like it. We're going again this September and are planning another cool video.

These vidoes are now available from our *new* Disney Pictures site. You can access them using the "COOL VIDEOS" link at this site:

If you have problems with the Media Player versions, try getting a copy of the latest media player from here:

That is so cool! I loved every second of your video. It must have taken hours for you to put it all together. I'm looking forward to the next one! :bounce:

Glad you like it! We plan on taking more video next time. I'd really like to get some shots of the insides of more of the rides. The video took a couple weeks of free evenings to whip up. The hardest part was sifting thru the pictures and videos and picking out the stuff that wouldn't put our families to sleep. My family lives in CT and MN. My wife's live in OH. We use videos to keep in touch and give them an idea of what we're up to.

I also have about 400 pictures we took while we were there -- it's nice having a digital camera that is pocket size. We're working on a website to show off some of our favorite pics.

I'll post a link once we get it put together.

How incredible!!! You are very talented. I felt like I was there the whole time! Thanks very much for posting. :jester:

Loved it! What a great video! It sounded great on my THX Surround Sound Altec Lansing Speakers!!! I cranked up the sound and it was just like being there!

Thanks again for sharing!

Glad you liked it! Thanks!

Stunning, Rob, thoroughly enjoyed it. A work of love. Thanks for taking the time to share with all of us. The music was no too hard, LOL, 'Reflections of Earth' from Illuminations, one of the best! :sunny:

Thank you thank you thank you for sharing your video! I can't even imagine the work that you put into to make it. I'm going to show it to my daughter when she gets home from school. I know it will bring back good memories for her.

Glad you all enjoyed it. If anyone gets any errors trying to access it, please let me know. The site I posted it to has a 1GB/month transfer limit and I'll post a new link if the limit gets reached. Enjoy!

:earseek:WOW! :earseek:

Loved the images, makes it hard to believe I was just there a week ago!....

Fantastic video! Hubby and I just bought a new computer with all the extras and we just started to dabble in producing some videos, so I know how much work you put into that incredible video. I was planning on doing something similar and now that I've seen what a great job you've done, I am even more inspired!

Which video editor did you use? And how did you get it to be a streaming video?
:bounce:

I used Premiere 6. It comes with exporters that will export to Microsoft and Realplayer formats (and a bunch of other formats). If you don't have Premiere, you can download the streaming conversion programs for free from Microsoft or Real.

We use the software with a Matrox RT2500, a great video capture card. I also used After Effects to do the opening part of the video (i.e. tickets and map) and Cinema4D for the gold spinning Mickey head.

I do a lot of this stuff as a hobby and also to keep in touch with my family. It's not too difficult, once you get the hang of it. The worst part is sifting through all of the video footage and pictures and picking out the best stuff.

OK, the word BRAVO comes to mind.. I called my husband to the computer to watch it with me.. What a great job,, thanks so much for letting us share your video. At the end, we both applauded.. Amazing... absolutely amazing..

Simply Beautiful. We loved it. You have great talent and all your subject matters were really appreciated by all in our family.

Thanks so much for sharing.

WOW! I was really in need of an Illuminations pick me up and someone pointed me to your video. What a great job. I got to re-live my honeymoon! Thanks so much.

I do not call my DW, Marie, too frequently to look at something on the DIS, but I had to look at this again tonight, in less of a rush than earlier, and I called her in to look at it. Again, wonderful. :D
