Disneyworld Millennium Video

Excuse me a moment while I wipe the puddle of drool off the floor!

B E A U T I F U L ! ! !

Rob_b,

Give it another quick try and tell me if it is OK now. I had that happen to me yesterday once when the server was really busy. If you still have problems, I'll see what I can do about posting it again.

dBugged - Thanks for the memories. Your vidieo should tide me over until next year.

I finnally had your video working at 11:30. Too many people on line.

Glad it is working for ya. I didn't expect as much traffic as it got. :) I'm glad so many people liked it. I'll definitely put together another one after our two week trip in September!

Help!

I got the beautiful music, but no video-just the Windows Media symbol over and over!

The music is incredible, I'm dying to see the video! Can you help?

Oh my gosh! I'm still teary-eyed at your wonderful video. Themusic and pics/video was just awsome. Now I'm going to go drag out my video of our time there, and spend the afternoon with my memories. Thanks so much!!!!!!!

All I have to say is WOW:earseek: I have tears in my eyes, the music worked so well with the video. It was amazing, great job!!

Fantastic!!! Absolutely fantastic!!! Loved every minute of it - thanks for posting it! :sunny:  :sunny:

I am so glad I saw that. Amazing is not the word for it. Felt like I was there the whole time, and the music was just the perfect accompianment...

What a wonderful job you did.

Now for those of us who can't justify to DW buying a $900 capture card (WOW , but it's a nice card), but have a digital video camera, a 1394 input card, and Premiere 5.5 do you have any suggestions? No matter what I do, I always seem to get choppy video. This is using Premeire or the cheap editing software included with the 1394 card.

Do you know of forums or places on the internet I can ask questions/research my problem at???

Thanks!

Dbugged-

BEAUTIFUL!!!!

I have chills. I just called my parents for them to watch it. We all arrive in 8 days, and that video just makes me forget all of my worries, and look even more forward to our trip!

The music was perfect for it!:)

I'm not able to get it either. I have a cable modem too.
I just get music and thats it, nothing past the mickey ears and the "we must have your park tix"

AWESOME!!!

That was incredible. I'm truly stunned!

Does anyone know why I can't get this to show? I can only hear the music. I have RealPlayer, but I'm too computer illiterate to know what else I may need to download.

HELP!!!

Something this good shouldn't be so far down!!!

Fantastic show!!!
:bounce: :jester: :bounce: :jester: :bounce:

First, thanks for all of the compliments. :):):):) I love them! :):):):) My wife also loves them since she made a few brief appearances in the video. I'm in there to, but so brief that you barely notice.

I guarantee that I'm going to put together another one after my September trip (hopefully the weekend we get back). I can't wait to go again. It's a drag having to wait until September -- but we're going for two weeks and will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge this time.

I'm probably also going to whip out some Disneyland video footage and see what I can do with that.

--- To answer a few of the questions:

If you are having problems with the video, make sure you have the latest Microsoft Media Player installed (version 7.0). The older versions and RealPlayer most likely won't play the video.

If you just get sound, try again in a few minutes. Sometimes the server gets a lot of traffic and cuts of the video stream. If this keeps happening more, I'm going to repost the video again. I'm also looking at posting another copy of the video that is half the size (i.e. smaller image) for slower connections. I'm going to do this over the weekend and will let everyone know when it is up.

For those of you looking into doing videos of your own, a good video camera with a firewire port and a firewire card in your PC with Premiere is just about all you need to get going. However, you'll need a modern disk drive to do your own videos -- since a LOT of data will be sucked onto your PC when you capture. All of the files that made up the original video filled 10GB (about 30 minutes of original video) of my disk drive -- although I probably used only about 4 minutes of it. The actual video, after I squished it down and shrank it for web posting, is only 10MB. So, you can see that a modern drive and a lot of space are musts. I'd be more than happy to answer specific questions, if you have any.

Once again, thanks for all of the compliments. I promise more video surprises in the future. This has even motivated me to finish up a Disney picture website that I've been thinking about. :)

This is driving me crazy. All I can get is the sound. I can hear the whole thing through and watch the bar move across the screen... HELP!!!!!!

:)

I updated my original post with links to a few other formats. Hopefully this will allow everyone to enjoy the videos. I posted a lower quality version and also a real player version.

Jump to the first post in this thread and you'll find links to all of the formats.

Enjoy!
