Is it just me, or does anyone else think it stinks? There really isn't a lot of practical information there. Reading the EMH chart is a nightmare. No restaurant menus. I don't think it does the place justice, either.

It's just a big commercial. Yuck.

It does seem hard to navigate, and you are right, I've gotten a lot more info from these boards, allears, and mousesavers. I wish they'd give more in-depth info, more photo's and make some of the other things that are available more publisized. For instance, I never knew there was a pirate cruise for little one's from the GF. until I came here and found that out!!!
I also never knew about the camp fire and movie at Ft. Wilderness.... that any resort guest can attend for FREE.......... I just wish more of these kinds of things were advertised a little more!!!

I have to agree, pretty stinky website. The one thing I do like on their website is the "Maps" feature. It doesn't show transportation routes, but I like that it uses Flash and you can zoom in on parks and scroll around. Also, it shows where the resorts are in relation to the parks. Other than that, though, that website gives me very little useful info.

I have to agree, there has been many times where I wanted to find some information, but have just become frustrated with thier web page. It's much easier to use allears, these boards or mouseplanet. There is so much more information, and detailed too!

I find it interesting that they don't put down all the stuff they offer on thier own web site. You would think that they would make more money that way?

info is there if you can find it & half the time I can't :3dglasses so I end up on here & mousesavers (for current promo's). :goodvibes

I'm with all of you- I have never liked the official web site. It is hard to navigate, some of the features are often not working and it really functions as a cold brochure on the internet. In addition it has some erroneous information and if you play with reservation packages for fun ( I like to see the prices it offers vacations for) it often offers you a package that is completely different than what you requested without explanation.

I don't like it either. I think it's too hard to navigate. It's much easier to find the info here. this site has provided me with a a ton of inforamtion. I very rarely visit the official site and feel it could be turnoff for those who don't realize there are lots of other disney sites.

Has anyone ever made a payment on the "My Disney Vacation" section? It says you can but I just can't locate where or how. Pretty user un-friendly!

I think this is another area Disney has cut costs and leaves it for others to do thier work for them. :teacher:
