Disneyworld.com survey re; Park Reservations

Just got asked to do a survey at disneyworld.disney.go - so they're thinking about it:

Nice choices. Either you respond that you would like to make a reservation for every day of your visit or that you have no preference. How about a third option of "Only a few days of my visit"? Or a fourth choice of "I don't want to have to make park reservations at all."?

The survey is already skewed by the choice of answers.

What are you talking about?

The first option is basically "I don't want to make park reservations at all."

I got a survey from Disneyland recently that went into more detail about the reservation system and I was given the option to say I didn't like it and that it might stop me from wanting to visit in the future. I chose both those answers when they were offered.

Thats not an option that I'm seeing in the image posted by the OP. It says "Choose the first day of my trip that I might want to visit any Walt Disney World theme park." That's not the same thing in my mind.

You're checking in on June 10.

You tell the tool "yep, I'm going to a park on June 10" or "nope, I'm just going to the resort that day and my first park day will be June 11."

That's pretty flexible to me. It's how they price and sell multi-day tickets already, even prior to Park Pass.

But it kind of is. Say you have a 10 day trip with 5 day park tickets. You are not sure what days you want to go to the parks ahead of time. You want flexibility once you are there. That option would allow you to theoretically choose day 1 as the first park day of your trip. That option would "unlock" your tickets and allow them to be valid for park entry on ANY day during your stay STARTING on the day you select. You would not have to make any specific park reservations.

As someone who has built surveys for clients I agree with @Marionnette's point -- the first choice doesn't specifically indicate no park reservations. That is something the responder might infer, but unless stated it may not be the intent. Maybe they are considering you designate your first day when buying the ticket, but 30 days out you make park reservations. Maybe they are considering no park reservations at all. Maybe they are considering day-of park reservations. Maybe they are considering...something else. Most surveys are worded in a skewed way.

As are a lot of their surveys. It's like they are trying to force you into what they want to hear.

I'm still trying to figure out what that first option means....

Yes, it does.

When someone asks you "do you prefer A or B," answering A also means "not B" and answering B also means "not A."

So, I've been wracking my brain for like 30 seconds, and I can't think of an advantage to the guest where they would prefer the reservation system. I suppose on the most crowded days, it's nice to know that you can get in, but...

I've been doing the same. I can imagine someone saying "No Preference," and I can imagine people responding with the first answer, but I can't imagine the type of person who would pick the second.

Yea for Oct 1st I am very very thankful for reservations. I could see it being the same for other big days like Christmas or New Years.
If I had to choose, I would probably pick to not have them. But I definitely don't mind them at all. They don't change my planning one bit.
