Disneyworld Annual Pass

We are planning to go to Disneyworld in summer 2015 and plan to buy one annual pass and two 21 day tickets between the 3 of us.
My question is if I purchase the annual pass now will it still be valid to start it in August next year?

I contacted WDW customer services about this not long ago as I want to do the same for our trip in May. They said that the ticket date will start from the date you exchange the voucher not the date you purchase it online.

I'm keeping the email just in case! I've heard some people on here say you need to watch the dates they put on it.

Not to jump on your thread but I've just been trying to buy one on the US website and it wouldn't let me pay using my home address as the billing address. If I put in the address of where we'll be staying does anyone know if it will be an issue. I've willcall for pick-up, they won't send anything to the address will they?

If you buy a new Annual Pass (As opposed to a renewal) it starts when you turn in the voucher if you have one or the first time it is used.

Now as you you won't turn in the voucher or pick up the will call ticket until you intend to use it these are usually the same thing.

So it should be active for one year after you first use it at WDW.

If you buy an annual pass now you will get a will call reference that you can link to MDE but the year doesn't start until you collect the active pass. Active passes have to be issues in person with valid ID.

You can't buy online at the moment from the UK you will need to call them
