I'm making my way through James Stewarts DisneyWar... Wow... I've just been completely floored the whole time... The entire book is essentially a chronicle of the Eisner era of Disney, focusing primarily on the vicious corporate politics and backstabbing- and there is A LOT more than I ever thought there would ever be. At the same time, I think Eisner did some cool stuff for the parks and gave us hardcore WDW folks some great deals and attractions. I haven't been as impressed by Iger in that way. I don't know how Iger handles himself in a boardroom though. So what do you guys think? Was Eisner the devil, or just another example of a long line of defective post-Walt wannabes?
