Good Afternoon from Beach Club!!!

Just had lunch at Beaches & Cream and now waiting for our room to be ready! It was raining this morning, but sun came out! Plenty of seating at the pool today! Will be back down with a drink in my hand soon! lol

HOT TUB UPDATE: The hot tub at Dunes Cove Pool was drained as of an hour ago and is closed, as well as one of the hot tubs here at Stormalong (the one as soon as you come in the gate). I will update when they reopen.

UPDATE: The one Hot Tub at SAB was temporarily back open, but as of 5:20, both are currently closed.



Dunes Cove is refilled and open!




ANOTHER UPDATE IN THE HOT TUB DRAMA:

As of this morning, 12/5, Dunes Cove Hot Tub is closed once again! We will make our way over to SAB after lunch. I will follow up on the others then.

It poured a couple days ago and we were swimming by the afternoon! Hope you have a great trip! You’ll have to keep an eye on the hot tubs for me! lol

Could you do me a favor and please ask the staff at SAB, when they plan on making the hot tub, that used to be all adult, back to all adult again? When we were there in October, I asked someone almost every day, and nobody could give me an answer. thank you!

Not much availability for the end of June. Does the exterior refurbishment remove the the impacted rooms from inventory?

I have just finished a three-night Club level stay at the Yacht Club. It was a taste test. The family has been Magic Kingdom area stayers since the 1970s. But after a couple trying and tiring years, I am in the midst of a solo trip. In planning it, I thought, well, what the heck. Oh, my! Okay, I’m sold on the YC! They gave me a room with the Lighthouse view. It was quiet, well appointed and comfy even though you may need a ladder to reach the top of the bed! I thoroughly enjoyed the offerings of the Regatta Club. But, it was the kindness of the cast members that really stood out. They made everything so easy and happy. The YC really was a calm oasis in a pre-Christmas squall of craziness. I think even that short stay rescued me from a funk of exhaustion! Being able to walk to Epcot wasn’t bad, either!
