What else can you tell me about McDonald's upcoming Disneyland 70th Happy Meal?

I got so excited when I heard about McDonald's upcoming Disneyland 70th Happy Meal and when it begins December 2nd I bet a lot of Disney fans will go wild trying to get the figurines and I hope it won't be like the Disney 100 Year Celebration Happy Meal promotions when the figurines became scarce to get

No. I do eat Happy Meals but always order without the toy. I don’t need anymore junk around Disney or otherwise. I haven’t found any of their toys to be appealing for years. They used to have toys that were engaging. Now they are usually very similiar regardless of the theme, and are more geared toward collecting.

Today I had McDonald's for dinner and decided to get the new Disneyland 70th Happy Meal and I thought I'd have to call my McDonald's restaurant and check if they even had it but to my surprise they had it and so I got my Happy Meal and my mom got one too and we got doubles of The Beast and Princess Leia as our toys and we were shocked at this because my mom and I thought they randomly put different figures in each Happy Meal so seeing doubles surprised me. I did hear that the three sought-after figures are Mickey Mouse Sleeping Beauty Castle and a gold version of the castle and these figures may be scarce to find so you should check or call your McDonald's restaurant each week to see which figures are out that week

At our local McDonalds (friend manages it) the toy process seems to be consistent with what I have seen across the country. Toys are released by weeks. If they are out of that week’s toy they will either 1) pull from leftover prior toys or b) move to the next week’s release. The goal of this is to keep you coming back @DodgerGirl

Yep, that's how they get you, come back weekly to spend money on a meal in hopes that you get whatever thing you want.

For anyone who wants to see all the toys, I found a video showing them. I think this person bought just the toys (and not 35 meals). One thing I didn't know is that the boxes have numbers between 01 and 35 on the bottom. I confirmed the toys in the two boxes I received match those in the same numbered boxes in the video, which may make it easier for people trying to get the whole collection.
