Resort Thread Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB Resorts

The stay here was pretty miserable, would never spend the money for beach club again or a villa with a "full" kitchen. Our first room had an ant infestation in the kitchen and we had to throw away a bunch of food that was on the counter. They moved us to a new room the next day but we were without a room for half a day and getting our luggage from bell services took an hour making us late to a dinner reservation.

We tried cooking in the room but there is only one small frying pan, one pizza like oven pan I think (has vents?), and a pot or two, no measuring spoons. They do not have or sell filters for the coffee pot, only pre-bagged coffee + filter combo and we had a coffee pot break just setting it gently on the counter.

There is cracked and peeling paint everywhere, we've had crooked curtain rods and wall sconces, and the furniture seems really oddly sized for the space. Just an insane experience.

I will say almost every cast member we interacted with was very sympathetic and tried to help to the best of their ability. I do not blame them for the state of the hotel at all.

Updated amenity picture in kitchen if anyone was looking for it.
Disney should refund 100% of your money or at least a free stay in the future. That is uncalled for.

We rented points from a DVC member, they did give us a $125 credit to replace the food we had to throw away which we were appreciative of. They also tried to get us a Minnie van to take us to our reservation but after waiting over 20 minutes for one that could handle a scooter they apologized and suggested the bus. We made it an hour and a half late and it ate into the Halloween party a bit but we tried to make the best of it. This trip just seemed to have a bad luck cloud following us wherever we went. Our first day in Epcot we did three rides over several hours, 2 broke down as we were about to load, DH just kept saying we should have taken a cruise, don't think we'll be back anytime soon🤦‍♀️

Can anyone share the email for room requests? I recall emailing YC in the past, but cannot locate the email. TIA!
For complaints or concerns: wdw.gm.yachtandbeach@disney.com.
For room requests non CL:
wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com.
For CL : disney.signature.services@disneyworld.com

That’s for all resorts not just YC.

There is no email for Room requests. The Email that @Ricguz gave you the email for Disney Signature Services (DSS) for Club Level Guests.

You can call (407) 939-5277 or (407) 934-7639 or use the Chat feature in MDE.

Hi Dave
I gave her all three email addresses that I have used in the past, GM for concerns or compliments, non CL for all resorts and CL for signature services

Sorry but again there is no email address for non Club Level room requests.

The email you provided: wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com is the generic general Guest communication email address for questions or complaints or complements for CM related to the parks.

It does not get forwarded to the Central reservation team, and they will not update a guest's reservation with room requests.

I appreciate your knowledge. Laurieannc use the info that Dave gave you by calling (407) 939-5277 or (407) 934-7639 and by using the chat feature on MDE. Again in the past I have used what I gave you but for the past 15 years I have only stayed at CL at YC. Things change all the time. They all have worked for me getting answers however when I needed help at one of my YC CL stays, Dave was the one who directed me in the right direction.
