Good to know they're back to being booked - at least for August at this point! We're looking forward to trying to book later this year.
There is always a chance, nobody can tell you exactly what that chance is though. But do plan for it to be closed. We are arriving on 6/22 do you think there is any chance SAB will be open by then?
I don't think any of us can answer that question at this time....We are arriving on 6/22 do you think there is any chance SAB will be open by then?
Happy to help out the threadI don't have Facebook. Thank you so much
Thanks for all the updates! I’ve appreciated them greatly. The tarp color surrounding the top of the Flying Jib at SAB has changed from tan to dark blue. It sounded to us like they are using equipment at the top of the slide area. It's loud.
Last report from me this trip. We fly home tomorrow.
I can answer your second question that when I was at the YC in March l, I had scaffolding in front of my balcony. Now stating that it was not a problem since the workers started at 9 AM, and left at 4:30 or so. We were out of the room around 9 AM came back around 2 pm and then went to the smaller pools until 4sh so it never bothered us and it was not a distraction.A couple of questions!
1) is the exterior work planned only out the front of the resort or will it be the back too?
2) are Disney less likely to put guests in rooms with scaffolding directly outside? Will probably be my luck I’m put there!
Thank you!
Thanks so much for your reply! Did you try to change rooms or didn’t bother you? Do you have a photo of the view?I can answer your second question that when I was at the YC in March l, I had scaffolding in front of my balcony. My room is on the top straight ahead 5 floor CL. No I didn’t request a room change since the balcony was bigger than usual plus it was a king room on a corner so I liked the location. I usually get a CL WV king room and there are three that we like on that location area. Thanks so much for your reply! Did you try to change rooms or didn’t bother you? I dont have the pics anymore but I can tell you that the YC lounge has new pant on the walls, ceiling and trim. New rugs, bar set up on the left side of the room at 5 pm. Hot foods now on the left side of the food area instead of the right. Same 3 day rotation, same menu at Breakfast with pancakes, different egg selections, turkey or pork sausage, cereals, breads, bagels, oatmeal, fruits, Mickey buns, grits. Dinner time with salmon, chicken tacos, pot roast w mash potatoes, chicken and quinoa, pulled pork, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, tuna tar-tar, shrimp cocktail, cheeses, roasted veggies. They all rotate on different days. Midday has chips, snacks, lunchables, veggie and dips, cookies, waters soda etc,,, you need to ask for ice cream. Coffees and teas on left deserts and cordials late night. CM’s will accommodate any requests you have. Don’t be afraid to ask.Hi all,
Planning a September trip CL. (Yay! Food and Wine) I have heard the CL lounge has been updated. Any recent pics? Any recent CL menus or pics? I have a member of our crew with multiple food allergies. We have stayed CL before; the last time was WL 6 years ago. They were wonderful with her allergies at that time. Any recent experiences with food allergies and CL? Hoping there will be something for her each day of our stay. Yes I will be contacting CL staff ahead of time to research this.
Thanks, MudEJeep
