I had not seen this, so I appreciate you sharing it.

When I started managing this thread in 2010, I almost immediately had to purchase a paid annual subscription to Photobucket because with all the views here, my bandwith limits were exceeded (whatever that means). It was $29 annually for a few years. The cost has continued to rise as I had to purchase additional storage, so I think I am now at around $49.

I will not be happy if the price increases to $400!!!



PS- I have a rhyming nickname that I use for the company when I am having issues but I can't use it here... *$#@-it Bucket!

I am coming back!!! A last minute add on to our trip that will end at the Poly. What to do with two free nights in Florida? We all know the correct answer... book at YC! No parks for us on these nights. We are going to see La Nouba, spend serious time in SAB, and maybe try mini golf for the first time. 7/6-8.

My husband and I are staying at Beach Club for our 20 year anniversary 2/1-2/5(and then AKL 2/5-2/10). We are booked standard view. This is our first stay at Beach Club. I appreciate all of the helpful info on this thread.

Waddaya Mean they ditched the truffle flies???

Who would waste a truffle on an insect? Is this some sort of short lived trend, eating insects? Do I now have to worry that someone will come to one of my parties and tell me that they are an "Insectarian" and they only eat bugs?

That is going to make one heck of a pot luck dinner dish. ..

I can see it now... The good news is that this casserole has Truffles. The bad news is that they are on top of flies.

A sign posted outside Crew's Cup Lounge states that there only is beverage service, and no food, between 2:00PM and 5:00PM. I believe those are the same hours that Captain's Grille is shut down, between lunch and dinner service.

Yeah, it's a girl's trip back to WDW. You should come with us. Think of all the trouble we could get into. See if you can make a break for it and ditch the family to come join us. The bad news is that we aren't staying at the Beach Club. The good news is that this trip is topped with truffles.

Thanks for sharing.... I have a serious sentimental attachment to the existing Ale&Compass with it's cosy sofas and chairs so bit sad about this tbh but I guess change is inevitable!!

This! After our very first trip to a Disney Park (1986 Disneyland) and then seeing Epcot's Illuminations for the first time in 1988, I can say that NO other FW display has every come close for me!

Are the campfires (marshmallow roast) back on? (I think the drought is officially over in that area?) Its my kids' favorite activity, next to Stormalong Bay (parks are 3rd!). We'll be at BC in August. TIA.

Captain's Grille-

A friend who is there now is reporting that he is being told the end date for work on the Captain's Grille will be mid-December. He said the name of the restaurant would be changing, the menu will be changing and that it would be sharing the Crews Cup lounge.

I was told that Crew's Cup will have its food serviced by Yachtsman, and that a new menu has not yet been set. I think the sharing will be between Ale & Compass and new Captain's Grille.
