Resort Thread Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB Resorts

Thanks you ! Is this an up to date map? I noticed touring plans does not have any standard rooms near the quiet pool on his maps. They are garden view.

I have found the Touring Plans room finder/Room views to be highly inaccurate. So much so that I stop using it and stopped recommending it. It really is bad.

I believe the laundry prices went up to $3.00 a load. My hubby did our laundry yesterday ( I'm a lucky gal) and he said it was $3.00 per load. I will verify sometime tomorrow

Yes.

Self-service laundry rooms are located near the BC quiet pool (near room 1532) and near the YC quiet pool. Another small laundry room may be found on the first floor of the YC, near the side exit (wedding gazebo side). There are washers and dryers in the BCV 1 and 2 BR villas, and there is a laundry room available for DVC members and BCV guests in the building.

If you are lucky enough, you may even use one of the laundry rooms with a quiz.

And not to be forgotten...the small laundry room at the far corner of the BC. And of course I clean the lint trap!!

Is the secret laundry room "at the far corner of the BC" the one that is near Room 1532? Even though I visited the secret BC laundry room, my sense of direction sux!

How should my description about read? See below and edit as appropriate...

Do you know if there is an exit to SAB from the elevator by the lobby other then the going through the lobby? I know I have asked this but never really got a clear answer.
Which resort? There is a side door near the ladies at Yacht Club, just round from the bank of elevators.

Staying at Beach Club for the first time! Will be there at the end of November... Any "hotel musts" that I need to see or do while I'm at Beach Club? I saw the trick about being close to the exit for the walkway to EPCOT (head to room 1501). Any more tips/tricks I should know? I have a standard view reserved.

We enjoyed MNSSHP last night!!! I just love that parade, it is one of my favorites & the Hocus Pocus show was really awesome. We didn't get that much candy because our daughter wanted to ride the rides, there was minimal waits on everything pretty much. The castle light show was canceled though due to technical difficulties so we didn't get to see that but everything else was totally Awesomesauce.

Yes.

All of the resort laundry facilities now operate using credit/debit cards (Magic Bands- does anyone know??? I think not) instead of quarters.

Here is the info from Post 4 on Page 1:

OK longtime BC peeps I need a little help. I have recently acquired a bunch of fabric that was used for the BC bedspreads the last time they were actual bedspreads and not the scarves. I know on our first visit in 1997 they were still using the teal/coral pink bedspreads with the seahorses and hidden Mickey bubbles but does anyone know the years of service for this fabric that came right after that one?

Your costumes made me smile.:) You all look great.

I'm sure it's been addressed before somewhere, but I couldn't find it. We are checking into a standard room at the Beach Club on Dec 18th. There are 4 of us, but we really want a room with the fold out day bed. Do all the standard rooms at the Beach Club that have two queen beds also have the day bed?
