Resort Thread Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB Resorts

That's rather disappointing. The BCV is our #1 choice if we are able to get a spring discount that would put it in our price range. We currently have a YC room booked but being in a Villa seemed great for a honeymoon.

I have to say I think I'd prefer a room at the YC to the villa for a honeymoon. I can't explain it, but it just seems like a better choice.

We are certainly still happy with what we have booked now. Especially if we can get a newly refurb'd YC room. I guess in our minds we feel the added perks to being in a Villa for example the more space, jacuzzi, larger walk-in shower seem more inviting for a honeymoon. I'm sure we will have an amazing time no matter where we stay in the YC or BC.

Question: Where at BCR is the refillable mug station at.

Never mind, I found it listed in the beginning of the thread.

Refillable Mugs may be purchased and filled at the Beach Club Marketplace (self-serve station), Beaches and Cream (CM assisted service, get into the ice cream takeout line), Hurricane Hanna's (self-serve station) and the Ale and Compass Lounge in the Yacht Club resort (coffee/tea self-service, juices and soda behind the bar, until 12 Noon)
I found we used Hurricane Hanna refill station the most, we take our mugs with us, clipped to purse strap with caribener (sp?) and fill up on the way out, and coming back from Ep or DHS. Also while at sab.

I can't wait to try it for the second time!

:thumbsup2

The Macadamia-Freaking-Pineapple Pancakes are my FAVORITE thing to eat in the World.

:goodvibes

We had lunch at Cowfish and it wasn't too crowded. We plan on doing that again in August since they don't take reservations there.

::yes::

Mac nut Pinapple pancakes are dd's fav!! Mine is Tonga Toast ::yes:: so happy I can get it at Cooks!
We had lunch at Cowfish I think last Aug.

That's for sure!!! Beautiful resort for a honeymoon. And tgd location can't be beat!!!

Does anyone know how many rooms have king beds at the BC? The reason I am wondering is when we are at the BC, we usually stay garden view and have gotten the same king bed room a few times and while we like the room we would love to have a different king bed room.:confused3:rotfl:

Unfortunately, we don't know how many king beds there are in the standard BC or YC rooms. The only thing I have heard is "not many". Which could be why you keep getting the same room. They are fulfilling your request, but there aren't a lot to choose from.

:)

Thanks for answering. We are very appreciative to get our requests fulfilled as we understand they are only requests. We were just discussing how we keep getting the same room and we wondering if anyone knew. We're guessing only a few per category.

Do you happen to remember what room number that would be? I'm curious as to where that room would be. I know of four rooms that have king beds but I would love to know where other ones are.

:)

The room is 2598 and has a long balcony.
Is that one on your list?

We have a king too, but I'll share the number after we leave. Something about announcing to a bunch of strangers on the internet which hotel room you're in feels creepy, ha!!

Thanks. No, it wasn't on my list. I wouldn't be surprised if 1598, 3598 and 4598 have king beds, too. :)

I never knew that the BC was so symmetrical. ;) It always looked random to me.

Those newly refurbed rooms look gorgeous!

44 days until WDW and 49 days until we check into the Beach Club. We can't wait!
