Sorry *ccv rooms
Yes the CCV Courtyard rooms are directly across from the WL Courtyard rooms. I would just advise you to only look down or toward Bay lake.Sorry *ccv rooms
Thank youYes the CCV Courtyard rooms are directly across from the WL Courtyard rooms. I would just advise you to only look down or toward Bay lake.
I would suggest if this scaffolding or the blacked out rooms bother you that you reconsider your stay at the WL. Maybe return to the YC / BC or maybe try BWI.

I can’t answer your question about the scaffolding. Did you book a shower-only studio? The vast majority of rooms with tubs are on the 1st floor.I have booked my first stay at WL for Sept. I have never even stepped foot in the resort, but the great discount offered told me I had to try it.
I booked a Deluxe studio in CC- resort view. I really would like to enjoy the balcony - I dont care about the view as much as just sitting outside (yes I know it will be hot LOL) - seeing all the posts here about the construction, should I reconsider? Would my balcony be bloked off by scaffolding?
Also I heard that the studios in CC are all on the first floor? Im not a fan of first floor rooms so that would probably be a reason to change.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
I did not get a shower- only. So I guess my odds are likely on the first floor.I can’t answer your question about the scaffolding. Did you book a shower-only studio? The vast majority of rooms with tubs are on the 1st floor.
The refurbishment work is currently scheduled to finish up some time in early September. They started on the 7th floor, and are working down to the first floor.I have booked my first stay at WL for Sept. Doubtful your balcony will be blocked by scaffolding, and if it is for some reason it should not be for a long period. The bulk if not all the work has been interior work to the CCV rooms / hallways. I have not seen any posts about scaffolding on the CCV side during this refurbishment that started in MayI booked a Deluxe studio in CC- resort view. No they are not all on the 1st floor, however 31 of the 37 Studios are on the 1st floor. Also I heard that the studios in CC are all on the first floor? Im not a fan of first floor rooms so that would probably be a reason to change.
We had a dedicated shower studio on the 6th floor on our 2020 trip. (6019) There are a handful of these on every floor except the first. All of the studios with tubs are on the 1st floor. I think there may be some lock-offs on the other floors as well. There should be some maps on the CC DVC thread, at least that’s where i think I got my maps back then. I think there are about 13 dedicated shower studios all together. No they are not all on the 1st floor, however 31 of the 37 Studios are on the 1st floor.

There are a few “alternate studios” that have tubs that are not on the 1st floor. I believe they are rooms ending in 15, and there are 6 of them. Yes the 37 Deluxe Studios I referenced include the 6 Alternate Studios with a tub that @Mle8308 referenced above on floors 2-7. They are larger and have a unique layout. We had a dedicated shower studio on the 6th floor on our 2020 trip. (6019) There are a handful of these on every floor except the first. I couldn’t remember if I had made a request or if it was a separate booking category. Thanks!Yes the 37 Deluxe Studios I referenced include the 6 Alternate Studios with a tub that @Mle8308 referenced above on floors 2-7. They are larger and have a unique layout.
There are also ~40 Deluxe Studios with a walk-in Shower only that are also scattered across floors 2-7, and are a separate booking category.

Oh thank heavens! Love Brother Bear (our dog’s name is Koda) but despise Ice Age!That's what I thought at first glance but it's "Brother Bear"

Is there anyone at Wilderness Lodge currently that can confirm if outdoor seating area for Roaring Fork is still closed? TIA!There is currently scaffolding covering the rooms/area above the quick service restaurant (see my post in the Copper Creek thread in the DVC section of the board.) If you continue reading in that thread, another poster who was live at WL said the quick service outdoor seating area was also closed due to that work. I don't know where the exterior work is going next and what has already been completed however. It's unrelated to the Copper Creek room refurbishment.
