We stayed May 12-16, CC side 2 bedroom room 5134 had ice cold water two days in a row. Had a beautiful view they wanted to move us. I didn’t want to move just wanted hot water. Maintenance came during the day we were not in room, they said water temp was fine. Was not fine at 11:00pm and 5:30am. Never got any explanation.
Quick question how did you report the lack of hot water issue. Was it from your in-room phone or at the Front desk?
Snack? Maybe the fire side cup cake, but it's really a mass produced chocolate Disney cupcake. It's definitely cute, but it's a basic cupcake. The bear claws are good, but not really something I would say would appeal to a real "foodie". The bison burger at GP is good, but it's not a snack. Territory Lounge has some unique appetizers. To me, Disney and "foodie" really don't "mix" unless it's V&A's. But there are a lot of things that are "good enough".
YES! The Magic Bar is only available at WL. It used to be available at both WL and POR, but not anymore. I love the Magic Bar and will go out of my way to go to Roaring Fork to buy one.
There are several items on the menu at Territory Lounge that she might enjoy.

Interesting! I wonder how many floors at CCV are done? I have a split stay coming up in September (CCV and Poly), I hope to get a renovated room with a Murphy.Someone on FB said they stayed in a refurbed 1 br. this week. They posted this picture of the Murphy Bed from Room 7110. I’m not sure how legit this is, since she didn’t post any other pics of the room, but thought I’d share. I’ll share if I see any more .

The most recent activity schedule says that the tour is offered daily. I would check about Thanksgiving, though.
Yes all the Water View King rooms overlook the Courtyard. The only work I know about is on the CCV rooms (South Side of the Courtyard) where they are working on floors 4-6 currently.
